I’m from Maui and this is the same bullshit. It’s all about the poor tourists who had a bad vacation. Nothing about the loss of life and livelihoods suffered by the local population. What a world we live in now,…..poor honeymooners are given a whole news segment and nothing about the local people.

I don't care. If they'd be smart and vigilant, people would've never visited those areas from the start. Yes, Most Hurricanes Usually start during the Month of August but It's Hurricane season from June 1st-November 30th so, Those vacationing in areas that get hit by Hurricanes during hurricane season should expect to get hit by A hurricane during that time. Those that had put up with it during a Vacation that they shouldn't have planned at all during this timeframe are not making a smart decision.
