ACTION FIGURE CUSTOMS: Super Soldier
I don't know how many of you remember the Amalgam Universe, but in the 90's it was a big surprise and an even bigger deal at the comic store.
Amalgam was a merging of the DC ad Marvel universes where characters were mixed together.
Super Soldier was an amalgam of Superman and Captain America.
And that's what we're making today!
Now, this figure was worked on for the better part of a year, so I learned a lot between the start and the finish. Even now I would do things differently, but it was still a fun experiment.

Man, that placeholder head sculpt looks... *MENACING.* Glad you decided to go with Wally's head, it fits the young heroic vibe of Super Soldier a lot more.

I think because I see how I would do things now with this figure so much more than most. I'm going to do a second version because I like the character so much.
I noticed you were struggling a bit with this figure, so if it helps you can check out the custom Super Soldier video by From The Depths Collectables. His came out damn-near factory looking!

It was actually a joint venture between marvel and DC. They had a Marvel VS DC event and merged their universes for one week. It was a lot of fun, and some pretty crazy characters came out of it.

Why didn't you just go and pick up a Aquaman with the scale armor and take the torso and switch it

I actually started this figure last March and only finished it this January because I was waiting for the shield. I would do a ton of things differently now.
