Thanks for this review. The emphasis you make on this toilet's "cleaning" ability is exactly what I was after- thanks for being real and for taking your time to post this.

Hi Captainjoel. Thank you for your honest review. There are a few reasons why your ActiClean toilet continues to stay clean, even after two weeks, as you have mentioned below in a reply. The VorMax flushing action, which is happening every time you flush, the CleanCurve Rim (means there's no rim cavity for buildup to develop), and most of all the easy one-click cleaning feature. If you're using the cleaning cycles regularly as suggested (1 QUICK and 1 DEEP per week), your bowl should remain clean longer than if you were just flushing the toilet. This means you won't have to scrub your toilet as frequently as you usually would with an ordinary toilet. ActiClean saves time and effort. It was designed to help keep your toilet bowl clean daily with a lot less effort.

the flush is in a spiral from the same place as the cleaning solution? wonder if the spiral angle has some additional cleaning benefit or something

All standard toilets today are 1.28 Gal. per flush. The dual-flush toilets use 1.6 gal. per flush.

Hello capatinjoel! Thanks for taking the time to post your honest review, your video is very helpful as I am researching about Vormax toilets. I do like the design of Vormax over the traditional design of water coming down through multiple holes beneath the rim. What is bothering me however, is that this other video shows a very powerful Vormax flush: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6N3w9tuervUnpc.html That flush seems to be much more powerful than the flush in your video. There seems to be more water and also the speed of the water seems faster coming out as well. Is there a Vormax toilet that flushes more than 1.28 gallons per flush?

Thanks for posting! I was wondering how well this really cleans. I would still have to wipe the seat and toilet rim, so the more I think about it, it's pretty useless!

I mean it’s not meant to clean the lid and rim because if they added a feature to clean the rim and seat then it would make more of a mess but you can also get a Vormax but then you have to fully clean it but in my opinion i like this toilet.

I was actually thinking of buying one of these... But probably not worth the 400. In addition to the added maintenance of replacing batteries and cleaner 🙄.

What about the surfaces that the water does not flow over? They remain "dirty"?

The water still goes over all the areas, just very lightly in some and not as directly. The toilet generally does a good job of not having things stick to it too much to begin with, which helps. Areas which stuff does stick to will eventually wash off over a couple days of regular use. It could be better, but it could also be worse.

The deep clean is the same as the quick clean, except it sits in the bowl for 10 minutes and uses a bit more fluid. Everything else is the same. It doesn't get that bad even without regular scrubbing after 2 weeks.

It is on sale right now in Lowes Canada for 279 CAD. down from 499. Does that make it worth it? or still better spend the money on a kohler you think ( anyone who has had this toilet for a while)? thanks :)

I haven't used the self-cleaning feature in almost a year. I'd rather just do a regular cleaning, since I have to anyhow to fully clean it.
