Acrylic Painting For Beginners - In this live stream painting class with Rod Moore of Moore Art School you will learn How To Paint in Acrylic for Beginners. Painting in acrylic is easy for beginners when you know how. Rod shows you how you can paint in acrylics as a beginner and use acrylics in the same way you might paint in oils.
Rod walks you through his Moore Method of Painting which is a simple three step process for creating great looking paintings in oils and acrylics for beginners to intermediate painters.
In this painting class Rod focuses on a landscape scene with rolling hills and afternoon light from the setting sun. You will learn how to create depth in your landscape painting even if you are a beginner just learning to paint in acrylics.
This Acrylic Painting For Beginners is fun, easy and one to try at home.

I'm a 59 year old woman who loves to do several types of crafts including crocheting..U never could draw and I never painted because I didn't believe I could..Recently I have started painting on canvases and because I don't care to impress anyone and it's just for fun, I'm realizing that I love it so now I've started watching videos for beginners.Im so happy that I left my comfort zone and dared to try something I use to avoid because I thought I couldn't..now it's fun and relaxing.

Thank you for giving me inspiration, to take up painting in acrylics. I am a complete beginner from the UK and I am 73 years old. I am sure by following your instructions, I can soon learn the art of turning a blank canvas into something to admire. I think I have found a new hobby to pass away the time and enjoy. I have watched several videos on this subject, but found yours to be the easiest to follow. One again thank you. You have just gained another subscriber. Geoff.

I’m from Oregon in the USA. I’m 70 years old and about to start my first painting class next month. Came across your Chanel and am learning so much. Please keep teaching us! Your class is amazing!
A beautiful demonstration for BEGINNERS that isn't too advanced, easily explained and won't frighten a complete beginner off by being too advanced. Many thanks.
Hi I’m from Ontario, Canada. Been “teaching” myself to paint with acrylics for about a year now. I’ve watched so many videos that my head hurts!! lol. This is, by far, the BEST beginners tutorial I have watched yet! You explained things and demonstrated things in a way that I completely understood, especially the use of colours (warm, cold etc). Your technique is Amazing! I cannot wait to try this painting. 5 years ago, a psychic told me that I should paint, she ‘saw’ me painting. I laughed at her and joked about it because I was redecorating my entire house at the time, and painting every room. She assured me not that kind of painting. I am into photography but never painting, so I blew it off as fake news! lol. I totally forgot about that psychic until a few weeks ago... and here I am... learning to paint. Coincidental or what!! 😉😀 Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and skills. You are awesome!

Tucson, Arizona Great tutorial-excellent info on using color for depth & harmony
Northern Ireland love your way of teaching very encouraging for a beginner.
I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. I watched your video this morning. I felt so motivated I went to the shops, bought a small canvas and four tubes of paint. I got home and rummaged around in a drawer for a brush similiar to the one you used. Don't know what it was used for originally, but now it was my first paintbrush. I sat at my table and did the painting with your tutorial running on my phone. I am amazed at what I was able to produce with your help. Thanks, I'm hooked😃

Decks Saints I am also a Filipina from New Zealand. I am doing stone painting. It is an inspiring hobby. I am selling my work in the flea market, it's not a big money but I am happy to please people.
I have been using watercolour pencils and polychromos but thought I would give acrylic a go. So your tutorial is the first video I watched on how to paint with acrylics and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it so I have subscribed to your channel. I am in Wiltshire, England.
From the USA, California. Thanks for a very informative lesson. Helping to get through the pandemic without too much boredom!
Watching from Ontario , Canada . My granddaughter needs a forest painting with mushrooms for an art project . She needs several small acrylic paintings on a swatch of material , from friends and then she needs to sew them together. So I got conscripted! I’ve never done acrylic painting. Have taken a couple of water colour classes. Enjoying this tutorial.
I really enjoyed this lesson. I especially liked how you explained each step and technique. I am a beginner and will never be a great artist but I enjoy painting. I believe that's what it's all about. FYI....I'm from Canada, I'm 58 and have never even considered picking up a brush. Its kind folks like you that help folks like me take a risk and learn something new. since I turned 50 I have learned to play the guitar and the ukulele. I started colouring and now painting.....the sky really is the limit.

Thank you, I found that when I painted something for my kids years ago I was painting like I did in school back in the end of the 1960s. After watching Bob Ross ,I have taken it back up, but I am using acrylic. My 1st mistake is putting to much paint on the brush ,so I thank you for showing me how to do it, I am in the UK, and it's not yet midnight ,so this to you will be so last year,Ha .Happy New Year, stay safe and well

Simply wonderful. Easy to follow. Thank you from Mississippi
That's beautiful, mate. Done in 50 minutes, amazing. I live in Scotland and I do photography and bushcraft. I've planned to order an acrylic art set next pay day to paint scenes while I'm out camping and to paint off of my photographs at home. I'm hoping to paint scenes of my tent int the woods (Mostly coniferous trees, and or birch and sycamore) by my campfire, hills and burns (streams) with small waterfalls occasionally. What you have done is inspirational. I've had a go at watercolour a number of years ago, but I was quite below average at it. I try to put too much detail in and end up confusing myself. I've tried pencil drawing and had the same problems; though not as bad, I can't seem to get perspective right either. I'm hoping to have more success at the acrylic painting. I've got a really good eye for photography, but I have been making photographs for over 40 years, I'd like to translate that into painting for my own pleasure. Thank you for the lesson.
I am only a beginner and this has helped me, I am eager to get started.
This is a revelation to me! Your approach and the process was facinating to watch. Greetings and many thanks from the flat lands of NE Indiana, USA!
