ACR EPIRB HRU Replacement
This is a video on request detailing the process involved to replace an ACR EPIRB HRU. Generally the Expiration date has to be marked on the HRU by us, as we replace the old, with a new one.

When the EPIRB casing sinks around 4 meters, the pressure causes the knife inside to break the EPIRB HRU, thereby pushing it out along with opening the casing door. That's how it works sir.

@@prasobhsugadhan thank u for ur answer ...i know that model RLB 36..37 its work like that automatically ...but i want to know model RLB 41 ...is it work only manually ????

Negative sir. All EPIRB as per SOLAS, will have to be automatically activated and an HRU should be integrated into the system. I'm not sure about different model names, but the Regulation requires auto activation and an HRU sir.
