Defitnely hard to find pedalboard videos for acoustic guitars. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I put together a similar board using the Nano + Pedaltrain, Radial Tonebone PZ DI, Polytune 3 Nior, and the Collider Delay/Reverb pedal by Source Audio all powered by the Cioks Eventide Mini (mounted under board). The Line 6 PodGo is a nice piece of gear too because it opens up so many options to create acoustic sounds for each song and parts of the songs. Plus the PodGo gives you the ability to load IR’s to emulate tones from different quality guitars. I’ve used both setups but settled on the first one because it’s easier to modify tone/effects once on stage. Some people don’t like using gear with acoustic others do. I say do what inspires you and others especially for worship.

I like what you did making your own di box a part of your setup. I’ve put together an acoustic board where I run a Boss tuner into the Mooer IR loader and a chorus pedal into an Orchid micro DI. Works well. Simple setup. I agree a tuner is the best thing to get. Also. Sam’s you can mute your own signal and unplug without any painful pops.

Nice rig. I have a little different set up and only add a tremolo (when needed) I use a Fishman Loudbox Mini, a very small and light weight amplifier for a monitor. it has it's own reverb and chorus effect plus an XLR line out to feed to the front of house, no need for the DI or your delay pedal, maybe not even the Body Rez. The amp gives you complete control of your sound and lessens the dependency on the sound man. Go check one out, very dependable.

I start with optical compressor, mine a BBE opticomp (subtle) but turn it off and you miss it. I sometimes use TC mojo mojo for lite drive (I also play bass on the board) I hear this kind of sound on some records (Steven Curtis Speechless). Then source audio EQ to take bite out of piezo, Then NUX Atlantic (reverb delay) so similar though no modulation. I think my EQ and Comp maybe be close to what the body rez does. I played wiith chorus but haven’t found right one.. Then DI that sits on my Roland keyboard amp for monitoring mix (no IEM - not a fan on bass). I have also tried a IR pedal and loved it (Moore Radar) but that weird 12 volts keeps off current board - got to fix that). I only use lithium power, Volto and now moving over to Cioks 4 with big ubs chargeable batteries. I’m very strong on adding an EQ, if you change buildings it helps, or two guitars or Mando. This rig does bass, acoustic, classical and mando. I find the EQ, drive and delay key for my acoustic (older aftermarket pickup). Classical needs the verb and I EQ depending on what else is in on stage. Similar w Mandolin.

Hey! I’d say around $500 to find everything used. Reverb and eBay is a great place to look. You could easily go with a cheaper power supply and not include a DI. You could even use a price of plywood for a pedalboard.

The BodyRez is a brilliant pedal. I have two acoustic boards and two BodyRez to match. The Hall of Fame 2 is a decent option for acoustic reverb. I use the Boss DD7 Delay and a Radial StageBug DI. There are some great underboard power options for this size board. Battery power exists that will give 6 hours to a board with 4 or 5 pedals. Check out Thomann 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Pedals to add 1) Strymon Cloudburst - Amazing for acoustic and worship. It adds like a symphonic type string sort of sound along with reverb - just look it up. If you had only one acoustic worship pedal this would be it. 2) Upgrade your DI to one specifically recommended for acoustic guitar- My choice would be LR Baggs Session DI - much better for acoustic guitar than a basic one. I add saturation and a hint of compression. The Session DI is what a good studio engineer would do if you went to record (saturation and compression)....but all of the LR Baggs DI's are well respected. 3) TC Electronic Spark (clean boost) and/or alternatively just an Ernie Ball Volume pedal. It's best to as much as you can control your volume yourself like when you know you will be playing quieter boost yourself vs hoping the sound guy will be paying attention and notice you are doing a gentle finger picking section 4) Delay pedal - I don't have a specific recommendation...still trying to figure out my favourite one for acoustic. I've been experimenting with a Kemper Stage and on my acoustic signal chain a delay really can give some huge atmospheric sounds for some slow songs. You can't go wrong with Strymon though if you can afford it. Optional ideas 5) Looping pedal to jam with yourself. I use a Boss RC-1 6) Swapping the Boss Reverb for a Strymon Big Sky (generally considered the best) although the one you are using is very well respected too. Tim Reynolds who plays with Dave Matthews uses a Boss Reverb. Overview of ideal signal chain⚡ 1) ➡️🎸Great guitar (not sure what instrument you have, but that might be possibly more important than anything on the board). The pickup sounds like perhaps an older Taylor guitar. Definitely its a very cheap piezo undersaddle pickup in there now. 2)➡️ Upgraded pickup inside guitar - LR Baggs Anthem Pickup, K&K Trinity or Fishman Rare Earth (any condenser mic based system) 3)➡️ Tuner 4)➡️ Clean Boost - TC Electronics +➡️your Body Rez pedal 5) Reverb (s) -➡️ Boss+➡️Strymon 6) ➡️Delay 7) ➡️Looper - Boss OC-3 8) ➡️Volume Pedal - Ernie Ball VP JR 9)➡️ LR Baggs Session DI Additionally on the guitar itself...I don't know what your instrument itself is...but it's worth it to upgrade the nut/saddle and bridge pins to high quality materials and get it professionally set up. Taylor guitars and some cheaper instruments use plastics for nut and saddles (Tusk/Micarta) and plastic bridge pins (to reduce manufacturing costs). I would swap the Nut/Saddle for Fossilized Walrus Ivory or Bone and the Bridge pins for Ebony to down down the brightness for a Taylor. For most other guitars, Bone or FWI bridge pins are the best. My recommendation here is basically what I'm going for myself. I have a digital version on the Kemper. For acoustic I have the Cloudburst and the Session DI and the Boss Looper...but wanting to add the Boost, Delay. It sounds amazing on the Kemper having the delay on there.

I am not a "performer", but do run pedals for my acoustic. I run an echo, choirs, and looper, then into my amp which has reverb. I will probably add a reverb pedal to the chain so that I can add it further up the line, and maybe a body-rez type. At a minimum, I always suggest reverb, either as a pedal or part of an amp. I don't have a tuner though.... because I use the tuner that I use when playing unplugged. I might add a tuner to my signal chain at some point, but..... there we have it. Cheers!

@@beachtunemusic Yes, this might very well be the solution. I had KK Pure Mini some time ago and after I bought the KK Pure Preamp the sound drastically changed. Also I've seen some people saying Boss Ge-7 does the same job, a cheap solution it seems.
