They played the ball well as always but they got a goal against too early in the match, the defenders were too high offering too much space for counterattacks. The finalization was overall under the usual but I'm pretty sure they will be much more insidious playing at home as they always did in the competition (except the debut with Incheon). If we look at the teams' statistics (and I have been looking at them since group stage), Marinos are doing greatly good, it's just the finalization that needs improvements… with better finalization they would been the very best team of the tournament since the group stage.

@@lily7001Kawasaki have lost to Ulsan because they were already qualified, Urawa took it too easy and not only have lost precious points but they started to feel tired in that weeks, losing the league cup final to Avispa Fukuoka and even losing the 3rd position to Sanfrecce at the end of season. Marinos also felt tired too but they managed the ACL much better than Urawa, even without being in optimal form like they were half year ago at the peak of their ideal game play.
