Actually Sorin IT8887/IT8987 can work with 1.8V or 3.3V by EC setting. Most eeprom chips nowadays work with 1.8V.

Hi Sorin! Thank you for your videos, I really love them. I want to ask you what is a self programmig io chip and what is a non self programmig io chip? And how can I recognise it?

No - nothing wrong using handheld, wish I had done that, stuck with an iphone flir for now. You made a good decision to go with the handheld camera. Nice to see you using a thermal camera ...finally.🙂 What's up with the gloves here & not at work?
