Hi. A quick question: can you use the laptop with built in batteries taken off so only on the DC? Technically should work. Right? (I guess my battery sort circuited) (so... need a quick solution.) (DC adaptor shots down when plugged, cant use the laptop at all.) (So I would simply take the battery off.)

Yes, you can always disconnect a keyboard from a laptop

Krišs Gulbis You loosen up the side south of the keyboard as well as half way on the east and west side then you loosen the north side in between where the sceen is held by and go from there

Also, guitar picks are your friends. Seriously. Grab some medium guitar picks at a music store. They're wide, readily slip between the housing and won't leave tool marks.

yes, as with all laptops 😂 you can't just go to the store and buy a new CPU and whack it into the system for better performance

I used to upload fortnite videos back when the game was popular, but that's beside the point why are you holding my channel against me when it comes to my "tech knowledge" - nearly all laptops use BGA processors that are soldered directly to the motherboard and unless have possession of BGA CPU and a BGA soldering machine then NO you cannot just simply replace the processor

I think you'd have to buy a whole new top panel to replace the keyboard.
