Thanks for posting. I was able to replace the battery following your instructions. One big watch out for everyone trying this ... Make sure you remove ALL of the screws before trying to take the back cover off. I missed a couple and could have broken it if I didn't see the screws.

My keyboard on my acer has keys like g and h that do not work now I am loosing use of more keys on that left side it was suggested to remove the battery for a couple hours do you agree? I have tried shutdown for couple hours doesn’t work.

Regarding your question, sorry to inform you but matter what you do with battery or anything, is not gona make your keyboard fixed! i been doing this professionally for over 17 years, and with that said i can tell you with 100% confidence that you need to replace the keyboard because the membrane of the keyboard is damaged and that is not repairable, and it is just question of time before more keys stop working.

Hey...help...my acer315-33C1JA only starts up after l randomly select another key on the keyboard and long press that key but if l leave the key it switches off

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: 1st we need to exclude few possible reasons: #1. remove bot rams #2. disconnect the battery #3. disconnect the bios batter under the main battery: imgur.com/a/Gm6B6oT #4. press and hold the power on for 30 sec (without the charger nor the battery connected) #5. connect the bios battery and the main battery and only place one ram in a one slot the slot near the CPU #6. power on with charger connected and wait 15sec. if no image or boot then its your GPU. i can give you instruction on how to fix that, but 1st test the above methods

I can unplug/remove the battery for increase the battery life?i mean i most use the pc for gaming right now
