I've been in the HVAC&R service business for over 40 years. Modifications & work-around's are an everyday requirement to "get it working". I am surprised that its no different with micro electronics. Your video's and troubleshoot methodology have inspired me to start a new hobby. I've set up a small electronics test bench and started servicing my own old discarded computers and phones. Don't let others tell you that your methods are dodgy or sloppy. Your doing real-world repairs on used equipment "your not Factory reconditioning service!". God bless you for providing real training and inspiring others.
I told you Sorin was a true gentleman! He is patiently waiting for the customer to return so he can give him back his wallet. Sorin is from the old country where men are fair and honest. I admire him for the great man he is.
almost in any repair video I watched in this channel, everytime Sorin fixed it, I went, "How is this possible.. " truly amazed by his skill, I really want to start learning about electronics so I can fix more stuff.
I learn a lot from the way you fix a not working laptob motherboard. Thank you for sharing. God Bless. A fans from North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Happy Easter MR Sorin...glad to see you again
Great stuff, thank you. Glad you made this channel, learning a lot from you. Hope you keep doing videos.Enjoy the holidays.
So nice. You found my wallet! I see that you are an honest and worthy man and you like to help others. You can keep money or spend it on helping young students learn electronic. I wish you all the best!

Greetings. Thanks for such a wonderful gesture. Amazing. I am absolutely sure that Sorin will indeed utilize the money to the benefit of those he is helping to learn electronics. May the Lord continuously bless you in all aspects of your life.
Yes you are a gentleman, I found a LARGE amount of money also one day at a store and I turned it in to the manager. They probably thought I was crazy. Maybe BUT I had my 10 year old son with me and needed to show him YES there are HONEST people in this world. I dont need their money I have my own. THSANK you Sorin for being HONEST. It shows.
I learned to repair motherboards, and I have been successful in these repairs! I was already passionate about electronics and I was only repairing ATX power supplies, I thought that repairing the motherboard was complicated but thanks to your explanations I am only improving. A huge thank you, I am active on the discord as well ;)

@@vvv2k12 I think both are power supply. He set the volts at 19V and when he touches the ground to ground and positive to the circuit, the motherboard draws 50mA (showed in his power supply screen) which he said "a lot" when it should be like around 10mA.
great repair and happy easter

@@vvv2k12 both wires, the black one connected to ground and the red one with a probe are connected to the power supply and not to a volt meter, when power is drawn from the power supply it displays how many amps are being consumed and that's the 50mA you see on the reading. Later on when he tracks the troubling cap you can see thee current spike well beyond 1A
I love your Videos...Master Repair..😀
Thank you Senpai Sorin! I think you should remind people about your Discord link in the description when you end your videos with the 'Like and Subscribe' bit. Nice job..this laptop is the same brand that I have back home...the tech say its a mother board ......thank you very much
Some repair shops charge after the repair, so I think your customers are very lucky. Besides, what choice have they got but to go elsewhere or buy a new laptop. You are a fair man and your customers will soon realize this, they will come back again and no doubt recommend you to others. All in all, you win some, you lose some. Your time and knowledge is money, you need to pay your staff and the overheads. Do really want to reward the miserly in this world by leaving yourself short? Make'em pay up!
11:44 -It is nice to see that kind of honest people in these days.
:D I was just typing the comment to tell them every time that this is a motherboard problem. You are reading minds now.
Can't wait for the next video. thanx

Yes Sorin, it is easy to sleep with a clear continuous, and not struggling to remember lies.
Thanks Sorin
I thank you again and again great work thank you 🙏 you’re super
I respect you. You were worried that the customer had not been quoted correctly but was your customer was honest with you. Did they report that fluid had been spilt into the laptop?
You re the best Sorin! By the way I have charging problem with Dell D630. I replaced charger and battery but the result is same, and also I replaced the charging IC. Advice? Thanks!
Nice troubleshooting master
You are My teacher thank you Master
Mr Sorin Is it a good thing to have a infrared thermal scanner that show which component is getting hot ?
Good day sir ,am happy I discovered your channel it has been very helpful thanks. Could you do a video on how to read with a multimeter for beginners please sir
WOW and your are a mind reader too, you’re amazing. :)
thanks sorin
In the beginning of the video the fact that you didn't get a reading on the charging port with diode mode, is that an indication of a short being present? And how would you know if a component is open?
thank u for info
have a good Wednesday
You are the best man
Thanks a lot still here learn from u
Good work
when applied DC volatge to find some where hot, how much voltage and amp should be set. My case the samsung laptop can charging but when try too start, it flashing led light 4 times and reset the cycles until cut off power. Do you think it is short somewhere ?
i learn alot tnx sir
You are very good!
ı wish ı could work with you great master. You are a precious man.
Sorin ya'll are OK. Zer goot mien Herr. Can you picture the tourista 20 years gone by. He shows up, as he is leaving you see his name. You stop him and say, "I've got something for you. You go to your desk and return with his wallet. He bursts into tears.
thank you
watching this video from the same Acer 5736Z laptop ❤
thank you master.....
Is it possible to locate the shorted without power supply? But using a power meter only?
I buy joblots of laptops and maybe 1 in 15 is easy like this one with a shorted cap, massive difference between a repair shop and trying to repair laptops that other people already tried to repair and have all sorts of weird problems... Thank you for your work, I could say 80% of what I know it's from you :)

Help - the black bottle used to clean the water-damaged areas; what is in the bottle? Is it isopropyl alcohol? thanks in advance :-)
Nice job, I learnt alot from you. I wana ask you something about my laptop, few days ago I accidently dropped beer on the keyboard. Since then my laptop doesn't detect the graphic card. A calssic reflow with a hot air can be a solution? (it's using only the integrated intel graphic)
I'm doing the same with my customers... now i've started to call customers on real time (or using whatsapp with photos) to give update infos... and wait for decisions (if the work is something complicated... difficult to diagnose)
Hi Sorin....nice to see u doing jobs in a very easy way....take some rest...bye
Fantastic
Question. You have a laptop working ,mainly for gaming, leave it on and go for a snack. when you come back it is off. It has standby light and charges the battery but it only tries to turn on and shutsdown almost imediatly. Could it be that the graphics chip needs a reflow? Thanks
Hey Sorin can you do a video and go through the junked motherboards you could NOT fix and explain a little. I like the tough jobs even if not fixed. Keep happy:)
Hi So I got a asus tuf fx504 and it got water damaged I think, I didn't turned it on yet Is there still some chance that it can be fixed?
Your are awesome!
Many computer servis say: buy a new motherboard because if you want repair motherboard you pay more. Very good video thanks
