Adding binding to the mountain board would give you way more leverage to carve harder. The trucks just don’t have as much free movement as a double kingpin truck like on your street deck however the bushings will soften with time and with warmer weather.

I purchased bindings for the Zues and didn't like the foot position always in one place. I have had a few spills, lol and I was lucky to jump off (without bindings). I guess I just prefer the ability to adjust my feet at will. Both styles are fun. Thanks for the comment.

I also have both boards and totally understand your views. I also have the meepo hurricane ultra (DKP with gear drive and cyclone 165 tubeless) and the Nomad N1 with street slicks. The bigger street wheels on both these boards definitely grip differently then the cloud wheels. Both are surprisingly very nimble at carving but the larger tires will always react slower then the 120mm cloudwheels. All great boards that sometimes its really hard to compare because they have their own pro’s and cons depending on the type of roads, wet/dry conditions etc.

In this case it's not hard to compare. The Acedeck wins, by a hundred miles.

🤙👍 I got 3.3k miles off my CLoud 120mm on Zues Pro b4 the center core separated, on the Madz 105 now, very nice feel when you carve w/ them, but I felt safer and more comfortable w/ the Clouds at higher speeds 35mph+.

Good to know. I absolutely love the cloud wheels. Have you tried the Hydro wheels? I wonder if they make them for the Ownboard Zues?

Thanks for dropping this vid. I'm the exact same weight @240lbs. I was hoping a heavier rider gave some feedback on the Z1. You're right, you gotta have two boards. I'm also a newbie to eska8. Got my first board just a month ago, Trampa Big Boi Spur Gear. I purchased the Z1 as my street/mild off-road board and use the Trampa as my off-road trail rider.

The Acedeck carves so hard!! They are both amazing boards. They just have a different feel. Get them both! Acedeck is coming out with a new Quad motor Zues!! Can't wait.

Lol, no competition. Acedeck wins. Better deck, better trucks, better drive (gear drive) better everything. If you like cloud wheels, get the element gear drive and put cloud wheels on it. You can't compared cloud wheels to AT tires. Two completely different things. You can put any wheels on the Acedeck that you want, and it's a better board, objectively. It's also better than anything Meepo has, especially the hurricane. Also, they are NOT the same speed. Ares X1 and NYZ Z1 are faster than the Ownboard. Ownboard is also not more stable. Acedeck's trucks are superior. These two boards are not at all in the same league. One is a premium product (Acedeck) and one is a cheap, crappy board (Ownboard). Not sure what you're smokin...
