    This board is Acedeck's Nyx Z1. It was a board with many differences from what I expected before the review. If you are thinking about the Nomad N1 or Ares X1, also refer to the Nyx Z1 in this video.

    Another great video. It's good that you show both the ups and err... downs of electric skateboarding. Good effort keeping the camera steady even while falling off. It shows true commitment to the art! 😉

    dammit Big Homie. I somehow missed the fall the 1st time i watched this when you released it.... (generally speaking - i actively avoid seeing falls - the last thing i need is to empower my mind to crank up the ol' visualization engine by giving it something to obsess overt then manifest into reality. That one looked like you hit the back of you r head. You are/were okay I assume? Many don't believe this so I rarely share it - but I have rounded past 15 serious concussions in the course of my life - I can tell you this - after 12 - you're never the same man.

    So I just watched this video and I'm not quite sure what I want to do for my next board. I like the raw power of my hurricane but the range suffers. After riding the hurricane for 45 minutes to an hour, I feel like I want something a little more powerful and definitely faster with a lot more range. Considering the NYX Z1 street versus off-road versus flipsky Lightning. Vestar Osprey and Mboards endurance also on the short list because of the huge range out of their largest models. I'm in 90 kg rider with varied flat and hilly terrain with a mixture of rails trails, street, sidewalk. I like the thought of being able to put on bindings as an option but in all honesty I feel like I could add bindings to any board if I needed to. I would really love to get 40 mi range and I would really love to get 40 miles per hour. I would probably be satisfied with 30 to 35 on both, but I can't afford a major or bioboard... Even then the range on the bioboard would disappoint me. So I think my closest to are the lightning and the NYX Z1 off-road. The only reason I said off-road over the street is because of the extra range I can get with the 1500 watt hour battery. What do you think?

  • @KAMiJUINs

    @KAMiJUINs

    4 ай бұрын

    You seem to have made a good conclusion already. I agree with you. But if you want a longer range, lightning would be good, and if you want a more sportsy ride, Z1 offload would be good.

    Hi really cool video. I am considering the Nomad N1 or the NYX Z1, I have watched both your reviews of them but cannot really decide. Can you provide any suggestion or input? Or are they that similar that it only comes down to the look that I prefer?

  • @KAMiJUINs

    @KAMiJUINs

    5 ай бұрын

    Thank you for watching :) First of all, everything is the same in terms of power performance, so it doesn't matter which one you choose if you only consider power performance. However, if you weigh a lot or ride off-road a lot, personally, the Z1 will show more stability, and if there are a lot of riding mainly on pavements, the N1 with more flexible steering seems to be a better option.

    Kami, I tried both the 8” off-road and street tires on my NYZ Z1 with 120amp esc and larger motors. I had a big problem with wobble at high speed. How tight did you screw down the bushings? I put red in back and white in front. I think my bushings were too loose. One of the bushing screws actually came off

  • @KAMiJUINs

    @KAMiJUINs

    11 ай бұрын

    If so, I think it's a bushing problem. Guess you have to find a screw and tighten it. And try using the same air pressure in both tires.

  • @torpong44

    Thanks for your reply. At first I thought the screws below the bushing were just to hold them in, I didn’t realize until later they could be tightened to adjust it! I have ordered more bushing screws and fyi everyone even with blue loctite they still can fall out so gotten tighten everything before runs especially on bad surfaces.

    This or propel endeavor 2? That’s the question! What’s your pick and why? Which seems better quality?

  • @KAMiJUINs

    @KAMiJUINs

    11 ай бұрын

    Quality: Both are on the really good side. Nyx Z1: Power performance is clearly superior Endeavor 2: Riding comfort prevails. If you want a dynamic ride, you will choose the Nyx Z1, and if you want a comfortable ride, you will choose the Endeavor 2. It's really hard to choose one because the two boards have different charms. That's why I think that various models can compete in the market.

    Do you think the deck has enough room to mount binding? Seems like Acedeck cut away quite a bit of the deck around the area where you would mount bindings.
