At least, despite being an escort mission, there are enough enemies to keep you occupied, so this mission's got that going for it, which is nice. "The car's hidden under a bush." Excuse me? What? How...? *Sees you flying through that tent at 6:22 * Nevermind, I think I get it. :P And Bartlett gets distracted by a pair of legs, I see he's a man of culture as well. Ah, the showdown with Grabacr! MTD VS MTD! Aaaand it's already over, even going gun only, they're pathetically easy, that's a shame, you never get to hear their full theme because of it.

Every time Grabacr show themselves I yell out "TRAITOR!!!" to qoute Kylo Ren.

Harling heading into the capitol at the beginning hits differently once you're older know just how risky that would be if that situation ever happened.

All this dialogue would Not be going on in this Heat of Action, Except for important obvious military jargon etc. Yeah I know it’s not supposed Realistic but this Dialogue IS What drives the Story Along, But 07 made this Obvious with Unrealisticness exaggerated and “All the Useless Chatter” ! I still love Ace 05 with its Witty Dialogue And Ace03 started the “Story Chatter”

RE: Your suggestion; it sorta reminds me of what I wished The Unsung War was; a bit more like the final mission of ACAH.

I think the closest we get to this is Mission 12 from ACX, or at least the idea of capital reclamation with a small team of fighters

I would like to mention how cringe it is to hear Nagase jealous over Barlett. It genuinely hurts me more than anything else, how she is clearly treated like this damnsel in love with her superior. It's frankly awful, it doesn't add anything but a feeling of discomfort from having to no skip dialogue button. Their whole relationship is just creepy and wrong. It's another example on how I prefer ACZ and AC4's story and characters. Oh, fuck! Just realized I had said it already in a past comment a while ago. Oh, well... Leaving another one should help with the algorythm.

Lol I always thought that she had a crush on Blaze. Bartlett on the other end idk, she definitely sounds jealous but it could be something else such as translation and localisation. Im yet to ask ACF who speaks japanese about that.

​@@lukasi.v4269I feel like she saw Bartlett like a father/mentor figure and the Wingman she "let down" so I think the "jealously" is more of being protective than anything like "I messed up once, so I can't let anyone hurt the Captain again on my watch" kinda like a daughter being protectiveof her father when he's dating or marrying a new Step-Mom........ plus like you said it's pretty clear that she has a crush on Blaze

Oh Yeah and About the constant Dialogue which Ace03 Started, Is it True only Ace combat05 had you responding back ? Which Gave it purpose !

How managed the grabacr squadron with osean IFF, go trough Yuktobanian mainland... Yeah, Ofnir is a Yuktobanian squad (Belkan) they could not attack them, sure, but what about the completely rest of the Yuktobanian army, navy or air force, at that point there were still a lot of Yuktobanian forces to not notice

14:29 Why would Bartlett even pull an aileron roll with that transport? IK he did tell the partisans to fasten the PM's belt but even then you're putting the party at an unnecessary risk

To me, this mission is another example of AC5 cringy dialogue and mismatched gameplay that brings down the whole atmosphere. Mainly, both female characters are gushing over Bartlet and Blaze instead of showing any proper character. It makes Nagase's supposed serious tough girl character even less believable, as she always gets emotional over Bartlet to a creepy degree. Then, the idea of this mission is great, you rescue your former Captain and are recognized by him as his brightest student. It's a covert ops kind of mission, deep into enemy territory with a _feme fatale_ and the elusive 8492nd squadroon to boot, but the dialogue doesn't match the reality and even what is there is executed poorly. Which is all a shame, AC5's plot had promise but, the more I play and watch it again, I find AC0 and AC4 superior in most ways.

Luiz Alex Phoenix That mission where Nagase kept whining on wanting to be Blaze's wingman made my spine fly out. Sure it was meant to be emotional, but goddamn it makes me cringe hard.

Disregarding the cringe dialogue I still think AC5s storyline was epic as it could get. Idk about the japanese dub though. I don't know a thing about japanese. It could've sounded less cringe but then again, I got to ask either ACF or a native japanese speaker as the language barrier sucks.
