You would see a neurologist or a neurosurgeon. And this expert witness is testifying as to why Corey didn’t die from sepsis.

My daughter had pneumonia and they tube her within minutes of the chest X-ray and airlifted to the pediatric hospital. As soon as I saw her then she was calm. I was going nuts but she was in ICU a long time. So Corey didn’t have pneumonia.

Breanna even stated Chris would occassionally come around when he was an infant. Then when the state of New Jersey forced paternity testing to file for child support, that's when C. Gregor's parents pressured him to get custody. That narcissist never wanted to be a father, and he saw Corey and his mom as a nuisance. He uses his credentials as a shield, while discounting Breanna's character. The public isn't buying it this time. The treadmill tape was just a glimpse. We all know Chris beat Corey the morning of his death.

She really tries to explain everything clearly, carefully and in layman's terms and she is amiable and credible.Her answers are perfect for what the prosecution wants and they answers are also clearly honest and based on her extensive experience and wisdom. Seems very intelligent. And very caring. children are fortunate to have her as their pediatrician.

Its so clear that his dad killed/ murdered him, if he has the guts to force him, bit him on his head to run on the high speed treadmill, just think what he was doing with the little soul behind the door. Its very very heartbreaking that Corey unfortunately got this kind of cruel father.

No infection. So, Chris, what did you do to cause the tears in Corey's heart and the other injuries that happened hours before his death? Threadmill again? Kick to the body? Slamming him into a coffee table? What did you do to him that caused a boy (whose tests the day before said he was well) to die that day? You were afraid the police were arresting you for murder. This Dr nailed it! It is inconsistent for Coreys labs and chest x-ray to be normal the prior day, and for him to have eaten breakfast and be alert, oriented, and normal the morning of his death and to have died of sepsis. Sepsis in a normal healthy individual takes days to a week to evolve. Justice for Corey!

Great testimony and easy to understand. Chris is screwed.

He left the hospital as his son lay dying that is consciousness of guilt...Corey died at his hands!!!!

When he was pulled over in TN, I read he had the bat Cory used in his car. I wonder if that may have been used to hit Cory with? Strange if you're running, to take your sons bat with you, imo

Chris had an enabler his dad. His dad was always there bailing him out of trouble. His dad made him into the monster he became. Chris grew up thinking he cant be held accountable.

I think this doctor testimony is precious because from what she said there is no sign of infection none ,they made blood culture its negetive no sepsis , and it's very unlikely for a child to have a normal vital signals & marks to die suddenly next day and don't think infection even if it was there, it's very unlikely to the infection to be lethal without reflect on the blood marks and cross examination about everything but questioning the witness about what she specialize on is very unprofessional. poor baby his dad hit him on stomach that why he searched about internal bleeding

This doctor is awesome & competent in her testimony. After her testimony, it does not really leave me any room for any reasonable doubt. In my opinion, Cory's death was caused by his father during the time Cory was with him after being dropped at his father's apt. I feel confident that Cory's dad will be found guilty by this jury.

The thought of what this poor child endured at the hands of this evil man sickens me. I praise the mom for taking him to the clinics and hospital. Smart mom, she knew something wasn’t right. She did what was necessary to take care of her son. Prayers for this family.

Homicide in autopsy means death by the hands of another. In court, it needs to be proven how.

the child was bruised all over all the time and the video of the treadmill is enough to show that this child died at the hands of his abusive father.. the sepsis is a stretch at this point

There you have it. She said his blood culture one hour before his death was negative, so there was no staph aureus in his blood. No sepsis.

Poor little boy suffered in silence and misery, always afraid to put a foot wrong in the presence of the very person that should have protected him and made him feel safe..He’ll have plenty of time to reflect when he goes to his Cell for the next 30 and hopefully 40 years.

Take notice of his constant glaring and no blinking. He looks evil as heck!

His grounds for side bars, etc, putting down the doctors expertise should be grounds for his dismissal.

I can't imagine what that baby went through, and how he was spoken too and treated behind clothes doors.

She's a very compelling witness. She's clearly very confident and experienced. Have yet to see the sleazy defense lawyer cross exam her... will be interesting.

@@FCUK- thanks I have watched it now. I agree, his questions were irrelevant. He didn't manage to discredit her or her testimony. She stayed calm. Fingers crossed the jury interpreted this the way I did i.e. his defense is gone. Corey had no sepsis.

This witness is exceptional, his fate has been stipulated due to her evidence

Best witness ever - man she not only knows her core business but she is incredibly compelling and effective as a witness

Each new detail is sadder and sadder. Poor baby 😢

What a detached, somber, uninvolved father!! What a monster he looks like.

I've utmost respect for this pediatric infectious disease specialist...clearly Corey didn't die from sepsis or pneumonia...he was brutalized to death by his father...

Don't know why this case is getting so dragged out.

My husband had sepsis once and he got really sick but his skin turns gray he was burning up with a fever, he couldn’t even sit off he was so sick. This never happened in a matter of hours it slowly started from an infection not treated. You would clearly know the day before he was that sick.

Exactly. My mother-in-law had it, and she was extremely sick. It's why we took her to the hospital and how we discovered she had it. We knew something was wrong with her. She had a very high temperature and was very sick.

My husband also had sepsis. He had an infection and (against my insistence and medical advice) he didn’t finish his antibiotics and it got bad. Took several weeks though and then all the sudden severe temperature, nauseous, almost hallucinating bc of the fever. He was in the hospital for a week on IV antibiotics and treated by an infectious disease doctor like this one who testified. They already determined the kid did not have an infection. Just a Hail Mary from the defense

...and apparently no conscience. I'm sure he wanted to believe his son didnt do this, but if sitting through this trial didn't show him exactly the type of person Christopher is, then nothing will wake him up. Christopher deserves to be behind bars for LIFE, no parole, not ever.

This Specialist is an excellent witness. She is hammering the nail in the smug father's coffin with every word she speaks. He's a monster. Prayers to Corey's mother and family.

Koudos to the prosecution team! I love them for bringing the expert in to clarify the labs to us. ❤

This Dr is brilliant at explaining medical concepts.

I wonder if now chris father knows or believes his son killed Corey. He is probably embarassed his son ruined the family name.

The pediatrician is very thorough, very educated, so professional with a high level of work ethics and morals. The doctor for the defense claiming Corey died from sepis is paid for my Chris's parent's. They portray themselves as loving Corey, yet defend their evil son..

Was'nt that doctor amazing!! I wish every witness could be as articulate as she is.bless her, no drama, just straight forward facts!! Can't wait to here the defence tske her on.!!
