Hey everyone, I'm here to help. If you have any questions or just want to learn more, click on the link in the description above. It'll take you to a page where you can ask me questions.
@t50n oh yeah, also watch my video "error and percent error," which also talks about what you'd do if you made a bunch of measurements that had different amounts of accuracy and precision. and thanks for your good question--it will help me make the videos better in the future.

Sir ur great 😊
This shit makes so much sense to me now. Thank you, we NEED more teachers like this
Dude! I'm a 45 year old cop finishing my bachelor's degree (FINALLY) and I'm taking a science lab with this stuff (accuracy, precision, significant digits, etc...). I was feeling like a complete idiot until I found your videos! You, Sir, are a life saver!! THANKS!!

Arrest me, boot licker. The police force was made as a monopolized investigative service and protection racket. It has taken generations for them to evolve into a militarized force that terrorizes the people who they're sworn to protect; those they see as enemy combatants. Bunch of brownshirt, evil statist fucks you are.

I actually forgot about this channel for a while as I've been studying other things but as soon as I saw it I remembered how good of a teacher this guy is.

Same!
To learn how to do this, you want to watch the video called "Error and Percent Error."
@t50n good question! you use accuracy and precision when you're doing measurements, like in the lab or something. like maybe you're measuring the amount of gas in a balloon or something, and each person gets a slightly different answers. you want to be able to find out how accurate and/or precise your answers all are. make sense? in the second video "Accuracy and Precision 2" i show more about how you'd actually use this in a real world lab setting.

Sir you are helping me alot !! I cant imagine my chemistry without you this year !! I love you so much ! You are a great teacher !!
Man u are the best 11 years later I can still learn for u I hope you are alive u the best
Thank you so much! I like your teaching style!
I wish my teachers were a bit more like you! You are a brilliant teacher - you explained it well and I paid attention which is uncommon for me! Thank you very much! I hope you live a fantastic life and (when you eventually do arrive there) have a brilliant afterlife!
THANKKK YOUU I have a chem test tomorrow and you just saved my life!! :)
Mr. DeWitt, you aced the teaching part here. Your friendly way of explaining worked towards my understanding of the topic. Thanks a lot. Please, keep it up. :).
Thank you so much! My teacher is so confusing but this made it simpler. Thank you!
I've watched various videos and read lots of texts to understand this concept, but only this video did it for me!
U r actually a GURU. u know how to explain things. nice explation. keep it up
thank you so much! this helped out a lot! i was trying to learn this but i couldn't get anyone else's explaination but i get yours very well! really helped me in doing my prelab :D
Wonderful.. after going through many videos .. this video really taught me what accuracy and precision is .. i luv it .. wonderful way of explaining .. keep it up
While calculating process capability of a machine, with your video i came to know that Cp is precision and Cpk is accuracy, Precision requires more investment than accuracy. As the precise process can be shifted to achieve results. Thanks
yo, who with me in chemistry honors squad?

Your explanation is amazing! Thanks.
He make it so simple ! It make so much sense ! Thank you 🥰🥰
Thanks for the video Tyler, really good explanation!!!!!
man u r good at making relevant examples,u rili helped me
you are awesome. thank you smarty.
thank you for making this video it helps me a LOT
thks alot for all the videos u upload on here. There are a lot of videos that helpful to us. Hope u will make more
Thank u so much...this video(accuracy and precision) really helps me with my Lab....
Just perfect. Thank you so much.
Thank you! This really helped me understand
dude please make more chem vids. thank you ur sig. fig videos helped me understand it fully
Thankyou so much Sir, you are the best teacher ever.
You are amazing and teach very beautifully
Thanks very much u have given me very good insight of these two..keep it up.
Your literally saving my life right now.
amazing sir i have watched almost all of ur videos cause my class teachers are'nt teaching lessons as good as u.
This explanation is pretty Good . Thanks alot . If it isnt asking too much . Could you explain how to measure the percentage accuracy when reading a scale . ?
Love ur teaching style.,
Jesus Christ sitting on a park bench, this guy is amazing!! My chemistry is an accelerated course, so my professor doesn't have the time to teach us everything. I would be so lost without your channel. Thank you sir!
Amazing and beautiful. Thank you
dude.. u dont know i much i love you!!!! thank you so much!
Concise and informative video, thank you~
That really helped me.....Thank you very much for giving such examples to explain Accuracy and Precision...😀😀😀
That tutorial is precise and accurate!! Tnx a lot :D
Hi Tyler, I wonder about the last example of not precise and not accurate. None of the individual measurements ae accurate but when you average the four very imprecise and inaccurate values they aren't too far from the true value. So is it entirely true that they are inaccurate?
good job! your videos are easy to understand
very good explanation, it really helped me a lot. keep it up!
Yo you should post more videos like these Thank you This video helped me allot...
You are a lifesaver, thank you!
Helo Mr.Tyler Dewitt,It is very helpful. Please mention the linearity also.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
All your videos make sense to me :) Thanks!
You back (biochem)👏🏽
I have an idea for my teacher's activity for tomorrow :)) thanks again.
Nicely explained
Thanks alot man,now i got the concept :)
Wow, now it makes sense! Thank you!

Thank you so much Sir🙌 You make failing so impossible 🙏😊❤️
You are wonderful teacher from 🇪🇹 thanks
Thanks
Thank uuuu I like your teaching style 💫
Wow I got it nice video bro helpful At 1 st I tought like you are a science teacher and you are going to take a class about this but I like the way you delivered
Great video. Thanks man

You are amazing! Thank you!
thanks 2 u buddy u have very gud method of teaching .......... just be happy
what would it look like for a dataset to be imprecise yet accurate? is it something like a work of art in "negative space," where you give all kinds of crazy disjointed answers that somehow perfectly carve out the center?
Amazing video!
Wow very good explanation thank you!!
YAY I GOT IT THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR!
I feel so much smarter thank you so much
Nice sir you are great your example mathod is so nice realy help
so good very easy to understand
You Sir, are good!
This is a great video!
so helpful , im a sophomore in highschool in my freshmen year of college
I think accuracy and precision are relative terms. You can definitely say that a guess of 55 for the age is more accurate than 65.
Your channel photo is badass
excellently taught ...
Good explanation
Thank so much u just made me not loose marks on my phys test :)
Excellent video 👍
omg. I didn't understand the difference between accuracy and precision until I watched this. PLEASE TELL ME YOU TEACH FOR A LIVING! Because God has gifted you big time!! thank you!
Thank you so much!!!! REALLY HELP
Thanks a million!
Thank you very much, I just was inaccurate of understanding these words. Thanx dudd
awsm....bht acha explain kia haii
thanks so much! i did not understand this in my science class and now i do so thank you..
thanks Tyler
Best teacher 🌹🌹🌹
Really helped ty
Thank God for this video Thankyou so much
Finally I understand this concept
I'm not sure if I have that curse you speak of or not. I'm a flight instructor and teach aerodynamics and such. I like to understand the material very well and I try to come up with ways of explaining things clearly. I know when I was a student it bugged me when I couldn't get an answer either because the instructor didn't know or because they couldn't explain it well. I think the problem I have is that the students aren't motivated to learn. Most pilots just want to know the bare minimum.
