Nairobi clearly wins but Accra and Kampala have room for improvement. She struggled to to give us pros about Kampala and Accra but with Nairobi she didn't struggle or mince her words. Imho what you come across in the capital city of any country is a good indicator of what to expect in smaller cities or rural towns. Accra Ghana needs to learn a thing or two about Nairobi. Selling eggs, panties, bread etc. from a bucket on your head is ok in small rural towns but that SHOULD NOT be happening in a city like Accra, a city looking to welcome internationals, business professionals, investors, celebrities, or just people who prefer a lifestyle with class. The thing with Kenya is BALANCE. Having things that attract investors is key that's why their infrastructure is top notch, they have a thriving tourist indutry, multinationals/organizations for careers and business opportunities international schools, good houses, a FUNCTIONAL monetary system, potential for growing their sports culture etc. Ivory Coast can give Kenya a run for her money but Ghana has a long way to go.

❤Thanks for sharing this, Love😊. I think all African countries boasts of its uniqueness in many different ways. But I think to crown👑 it all, 🇬🇭Ghana to me is the best most pleasing African country. 🇬🇭Ghana just stands out differently. There is something very peculiar about that country and it has got to do with the people and the atmosphere. Of course 🇬🇭Ghana boasts of a good varieties of natural resources Gold, Bauxite, Timber, Cocoa, Lithium, Oil and a lot more but they portray a very rich culture.👑 Many African countries has experienced 🇬🇭Ghana in different ways, be it the liberation from slavery or the rich taste of their foods.🍲🥟 The people there are blooming with JOY. From the deepest roots of African descent, these people are very peaceful and united, depicting the real African HERITAGE and they don't shy away from expressing themselves.... 'MOTHERLAND' for a reason😊❤🇬🇭

Also based on the reaction I got from my Jamaican-American family, it would be great if you can do another discussion about how defensive and unsupportive our families can be when you tell them you are leaving the USA. In America they sleep on the job too. And play. But if you want draconian ways than Nairobi is the place. It's like USA ,but most people want out of USA style. Most black America want freedom so off-grid living is best for them. Ghana,Uganda, and jungle regions is better for them.

You seem to compare everything to the West as the gold standard. If the west was so great why are there so many issues with a breakdown in morality. Let’s get together and try to form our own future that is not always patterned after the west.

Some of the people from Diaspora forget that many African countries have several of their citizens in the West. These Africans in the West help their family members to establish businesses and coach them. There is still room for improvement. The African Diaspora can be of great help, if they see themselves as joining the Africans in the development of Africa. The Africans and the African Diaspora can learn from each other.

The comparison is quality of life, added to by INFRASTRUCTURE and Customer Service. You really don't want to talk about morality where corruption and lack of professionalism and transparency is a cultural norm. Nobody ever said anything about the west being a gold standard for anything. The over sensitivity towards anything that speaks to or identifies areas that need improvement on the continent is ridiculous. If you always feel like somebody is stepping on your toes, how about take off them sandals and put on some work boots and build your country.
