IS KENYA SAFE AT NIGHT ? | SPEND A DAY WITH ME IN NAIROBI, TWO RIVERS MALL, KENYAN FOOD, NIGHT LIFE

#kenya #nairobi #Ghanatokenya #travelkenya
Kenya is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean. It encompasses savannah, lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands. It's also home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. In this video , I explore two Rivers mall which is the biggest mall in Nairobi, some Kenyan food and also the nightlife in Nairobi. Come lets spend sometime walking through the streets of Westlands, Nairobi at night time.

My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana and other parts of Africa, from the food, to the culture, to the lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and other African countries.
My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.
Follow your bliss because life is short, follow your bliss because human life has no intrinsic value, follow your bliss because everything happens for the greater good and follow your bliss because it has all happened before.

Nairobi is generally safe even at night as long as you avoid poorly lit areas. Phone snatching usually happens in crowded areas like in markets or in traffic so you dont have to worry about it if you in an open place

@@JasmineAmaa Yes. It's basically just common sense just like any large city. The so-called "bad neighbourhoods" is where you mind pickpockets and phone snatchers. But nobody is going to violently mug you or anything like that lol. The neighbourhood you're staying is very safe and a woman can walk alone even at three in the morning.

The Two Rivers Mall is mostly busy at night and WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS. Most Kenyans are 8 - 5 working hrs schedule so if you went there on a weekday you will find a very quite and deserted place. It's location also is abit in the residential area so again during a Monday-Thursday it might be quite. Now try Sarit Centre Mall, Westgate Mall or The Hub and you gonna have a whole different idea about Malls and Locations in Nairobi even during the working days.

Wow thanks for sharing Jasmine. That is the nicest mall I have ever seen. Honestly I am not exaggerating. I wonder why the mail was so empty. It looks like it would be very expensive to maintain that mall. In America if a mall doesn't have a lot of customers they close it down after a while. I am assuming that the mail you went to just wasn't busy that day. The only mall that I have seen on tv with a ferris wheel or amusement park rather is The Mall of America which is located in Minnesota. But I prefer this Kenyan mall. They always show the poor areas in African countries on the news. So we don't know about all this. My family is from Ghana but I grew up in America. So before KZread I never knew about the nice areas of Ghana, Kenya, and other African countries. My parents used to tell me and now I see it for myself. Every country has bad and poor areas. But they never show the nice areas of Africa. Kenya is a truly beautiful country. Thanks again for sharing. I'm anticipating the next video.
