Good day po, ask ko lang po, under net method, what if nagkaroon po ng return si merchandise y bago niya binayaran, ano po magiging entry?

What about when there is a sales return?

Bakit po sa allowance for freight ay credit agad to A|F|C pero sa Sales Discount ay at the end of the period pa mag entry ng credit to Allowance for Sales Discount

It depends po sa discount period at kung lalagpas ito sa reporting period or end of acctg period. For example, 5/10, n/30 ang terms and nagka-transaction Dec 25 2019. Reporting date is Dec 31 and at that time, hindi pa bayad ang buyer, however eligible pa rin siya to claim since hindi pa nag lapse yung 10 days. Kailangan ng adjusting entry para hindi overstated ang Sales account and Accounts Receivables account. Take note also, Gross Price Method yan.

Hello Christopher. Parang katulad din sya ng allowance for bad debts. Dito naman, nagprrovide na ng allowances for sales returns and sales discounts based sa past experiences ng business. Hope it helps.
