April 25, 2015. Here is a sample of a 90 minute workshop that Sergiu Popa did at Anderson's Accordion Service in Ontario Canada. It was very informative with many exciting excerpts.

That duet at the end! Just beautiful. I could listen to you two play for hours.
It's wonderful to find someone on KZread who actually plays beautifully. Amazingly superb musicianship! Thanks for the inspiration. After approximately 50 years of not playing, I am now picking up my Pancordion PanJet 45 again and will refer to this video for continued inspiration. Thanks again.

Thanks for posting this video! This is very informative. Posting the whole 90 minute workshop would be so awesome. I would love to watch the whole workshop. The information gained would be invaluable to accordionists!!
Thanks Heinz for posting this. Sergio is an amazing player and such an inspiration, as is his music school buddy. More videos like this would be so helpful for all accordion players.
Great to see a real musician demonstrate real exercises for the accordion's keyboard. From Brooklyn, New York--Vito

Maestru ...bravo.
Watch Ksenija Sidorova video on the accordion for two actually good exercises, one of them being a hard passage from one of the pieces you learned. certain exercises may or may not be useful, depending on what type of repertoire you have. What's much more important (and almost not stressed at all in this video) is achieving clarity in the exercises: having a steady tempo and a steady articulation. Pushing exercises to perfection is crucial, otherwise, they're useless. I would encourage all serious accordionists to actually invent their own exercises, tailored to strengthen their weakest hand independence aspects. The general philosophy here is that the more you initially suck at playing something, the more benefits of playing it. Mental effort / discomfort / tension - if your exercises cause you to feel all of those, they are very good. The more discomfort, the more you should play it, because with time/effort you will get rid of these discomforts.
Amazing
Wow bravo!

It's basically scales in thirds. You should look up some piano exercises for scales in double thirds and just use the right hand from some of those resources, usually with recommended fingerings marked.
