But deep down I know he wants to win that championship! I think we are gonna see him sending it these last 3 rounds! It would be so siikkk if Haiden ends up winning the championship his rookie year! But if he doesn’t it’s still a phenomenal season! Two overalls, the first rider to win with a 1-1 finish, a few podiums, the red plate! I’d say it was a good year! Kids gonna come out firing at Unadilla in a few weeks! I’m hoping he goes 1-1 again! Go get em kid! This is what you worked your whole life for! Let’s keep that championship trophy in the USA! Now is the time to turn it loose.... awesome seeing the beast mode come out finally.... It was something he has had ever since i stated watching him on the 65 flowing around the track and never losing momentum just figuring it out and passing people where ever he can catch them and Dang!.... FOUR!!! seconds faster than everyone on the track @ lap 13 of 16 is just crazy fitness. Thank you for having pride in our flag, we are all rooting for ya!

I didn't see anyone else scrub that downhill into the left hander like Haiden did at 1:53 Haiden may easily describe the way he rides as just sending it. And many things shown of him riding could be seen as sending it. However the scrub on that downhill is more than a send. That is talent, balls and confidence. He and Duffe have his bars, levers, pegs, and gearing pretty much dialed in. When they get his suspension dialed in, completely figured out, it may be game over. This will forever be his rookie season, a season of learning. The star team behind him and including him seems to be fast learners. So happy for the Deegans and the Star family.

I noticed something similar that Jett was doing either the track before or the one before that. There was a small jump right before a left hand turn. Everyone else rolled over it or barely jumped over it and then stuck the front wheel in the rut and sat down and made the turn. Jet was scrubbing the jump, landing in the rut already leaned over and on the gas. It's those little things that make up tenths of seconds over others that add up lap after lap. Jett Lawrence is a special talent that is just smooth everywhere around a track. Haiden Deegan is a special talent that rides the edge at times like James Stewart used to do. But Haiden is finding that line between riding the edge and riding smooth. It doesn't appear that anyone in the near future will push jett to the edge in the 450 class. The competition in the 250 class is much more exciting. You have season veterans, riders with a few seasons under their belt and a few rookies trying to learn to become professional racers. Haiden has lined up bar to bar with them all with the attitude that he belongs. Haiden has proven he belongs surpassing most all expectations. He has possibly somewhat become to live rent free in some others heads. Jett is on a different level, but Jett will chuckle and say I'm here to steal your wife. Haiden is on a different level as well, but Haiden will say I want to break them. The future of motocross is exciting.

Watched the full race coverage as soon as I could after it was live... holeshot first race, led the whole race... 3rd on second start, back to 4th, tussling with Hunter till he went down trying to run Haiden's speed! Then he catches Levi, even more amazing, then catches Cooper.. unreal (apparently Cooper could not eat, yet can lead for 30 mins, must of been really unwell!!!) Then he passes Cooper and takes off like he is on a rocket.... Wow the rise of this kid is beyond real.... Well done Haiden, truly a pleasure to watch.... "crash his brains out flight risk" was it not! Truly smoked them, still learning it is true, just hope we now have three tracks that suits his style... Watched him for years, he always had that stand out ability, always made light of tough opposition and as a rookie, he is making experienced guys look slow at times... Just enjoying seeing every episode and every race as he continues to truly amaze us! Keep up the great work...

Congrats Haiden on the 1-1 performance. The goal is attainable if you keep riding with that kind of grit and heart. Many doubted you before supercross started and even doubted the decision to go pro. Keep proving them wrong and use it to fuel the fires. Heads up and with no excuses ripping a 1-1 at a track many of the analysts said would be one of the toughest tracks on the schedule says something. It's no longer just a learning season, rip the grip and get that red plate again.

Brian and Marissa have instilled a competiveness, humbleness, appreciation and caring into the raising and teaching of all thier children. By sharing their lives through social media, they show that despite being born more fortunate than others, you make your own breaks. You have to do your best, do whats right and treat others the way you wish to be treated. Whether it's Hailie speaking her mind with Paul Tracy, Haiden making a block pass, or Hudson coming to realize that the $5 three foot plastic pink and purple fishing pole his father bought for him was better than nothing. If there was ever an example that goes against the narrative that "rich kids are spoiled", the Deegans are it. I had to ramble on about this after I saw Haiden waving the American flag again. As he did the crowd chanted USA, USA. No matter the social status of any family. Rich, poor or just getting by. Among the previous traits mentioned to instill in all children, the awareness of what it means to be an American and what the flag stands goes hand in hand.
