Nice! I picked up a Diamondback DBX57 from a pawn shop a few months ago. I got it on a good deal. I saw a listing for it on Armslist. I just purchased a 30-round mag from GunMag Warehouse yesterday to go with it. I want to pick up a Smith & Wesson M&P 57. Thanks for your insight.

I feel like this would be a good candidate for sling tension shooting SAS style. At least while waiting for the brace ban to get struck down, youll have a more practical way to shoot it.

Love mine.....I emailed Keltec for years saying a CMR30 type gun in 5.7 would be a big seller, but so far nothing...

I love that you put a pistol sized sight. I was looking at the 510, but it is so big for this gun lol. Ended up going with a 407c.

A Romeo 5 was even big on it. I think a reflex sight is best suited for its small size. I went 507c because I like the circle dot reticle.

Mags are my problem. I have to work with them to get them to work reliably. The 30 round promag has been giving me fits. In my case, the bolt carrier is being slowed down too much to fully chamber the round most of the time. So I have been doing some sanding, polishing, and pounding to get them low enough so not to interfere with the bolt carrier. I'm getting closer but it takes a lot of sanding and a lot of patience to do just a little at a time. I think the original FN 57 mags work the best. I want to use this gun for home defense because it's excellent in that category, but if I can't get it to feed 100% it'll always be a range toy.

That's good to know! I actually haven't even shot mine yet. Have you tried FN mags? Curious if there's a difference. I only have Promags.

I wish they made this in 9mm, just can’t afford 5.7 prices.

I did a drop in CMC trigger and ambi short throw safety. I did add a flashlight, when you eventually add a side folding brace it works really well together. What "29" rd mags are you using or is it the 10 rd cmmg extension?
