every single time i watch videos like this, i think to myself that i can do the things they do as long as i work hard for it. people keep saying they wanna do this or wanna be better at this but most of the time they just sit there and do nothing. im practicing basketball myself and been training and toning myself everyday i just started but iknow at the end off all this it will be put to good use. to the guys on the video thanks for inspiring me and the people who watch this:)

There is really a lot, i like adding multible balls, you basicly do a rather easy coordinative drill but add dribbling another ball at the same time eg. You could for example dribble a basketball while tossing a tennis ball behind/around your back, passing a ball with one hand to a wall while dribbling with the other hand, dribbling a ball while constantly jugling with two tennis balls in the other hand.

Also very interesting is: Adding math exericses will increase your game creativity, thats at least what a study says, so while doing those drills you do stuff like 2x2x2x2x2x2x2.

Watch Micah Lancaster, Tyler Relph, Dre Baldwin, Sam Luong and Kyle Julius along with these... They are the best I've found on youtube.. There are enough drills in all those videos to keep you busy for a long time... Good luck..

How does dribbling more than one ball help in a sport that uses one ball, is this sport specific or very non-sport specific?

It's to train the brain to multi task so you won't find a problem dribbling with the left or your weak hand.

  • @roneducator

That's not how you multi task in basketball, you multi task while using one ball. Study the " S.A.I.D. Principle".Dribbling two balls makes you better at dribbling two balls in a sport that uses one.

ron walton In basketball you need to be able to focus on other things than dribbling the ball. For example, if you are a point guard(playmaker) you need to be able to view all your teammates incase they get open/cut to the basket so you can pass the rock for an easy layup/dunk. In other words, if you are not able to focus on other stuff than the ball, your game is going to be extremely limited. For tips and drills visit my IG page: Ball_on_a_string. Hope this made sense, lol
