I have been jumping into the public lobbies every now and then. I do however get a bit bored sometimes of all the full lobbies being Spa or Monza!

@@bobsav7109got a ps5 for Christmas, hate the gimmickiness of GT7, prefer GTSport. glad to be making the switch to ACC. Used to play ACC on my PS4 every now and then but the frame rate and graphics were too low to enjoy it properly.

It might work at a few tracks with long straights, e.g Paul Ricard and Bathurst. For most other tracks you’ll want to use max rear wing and a much higher rear ride height

The PC rating is based on results in special events. Unfortunately we don’t have any of these available currently on PS5 so you have no way of increasing it! On PS4 I had the fastest time in one of the events which gave me the 99 rating and then it carried over into the PS5 version

Maybe a bit guilty there! But contact was due to the Ferrari out of control and losing the rear

Can all those ugly vinyls be removed from the cars as well as in GT7? Is the aesthetic customization of the cars better or worse than in GT7?

The livery customisation is quite limited in ACC on console. You can create custom liveries using pre-set designs and changing the colours and paint type, or select from the official liveries as used by teams in the real world. In terms of livery customisation, GT7 is far superior on console.

Sim racing should be left for the people who invest in it via a wheel to play. To many bad controller players that can't afford a wheel because they avery good at life. People its $500usd for a dd. Get your bag! (Ps5)

Hi. I need some help. I’ve updated my ACC ps5 copy to the latest version1.9, but now the game does not recognise my fanatec dd pro direct drive on either the blue or purple button selections. I have also updated my dd pro to the latest firmware version. Does anyone have any advice on how I can resolve this issue? 🫰👍

Have you tested to see if it still works in other games? E.g Gran Turismo? Also remember you need to launch the game via the wheel and not the controller.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes it works with GT and F1 2023 with no issues. I do pick the wheel setting over the controller every time, but it still doesn’t work.

I’m not sure why that would be then. The only thing I could suggest would maybe to delete a reinstall the game. If that doesn’t work maybe contact fanatec support

Thanks again for getting back to me. I have reinstalled the game, but still the same. I’ll check up on the Fanatec forums, hopefully I’ll find something there. Thanks help 👍

Sorry this is late . You probably fixed the problem now. However it happens to me occasionally and I find its because I've started the game before turning on the wheel. The game likes the wheel to be turned on before starting the game. Otherwise it switches to controller mode.
