Sentinel666 He will take home the Globe definitely, but I think Timothée Chalamet or maybe Gary Oldman will take home the SAG.

I hope this film gets nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for the 90th Academy Awards.

Franco directing this film and starring in it. All I can think is Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder. “I’m the dude playing a dude disguised as another dude.” That’s all I can think about.

I won’t be able to see Call Me by Your Name here in Seattle for at least another few days, but y’know what? I can actually see a future in which: ….. *- One,* James Franco slips through the “maybe he’s too young” doubts around Timothée Chalamet (despite his sweeping Best Actor awards from critics) and Hollywood's lack of urgency in awarding Gary Oldman in Darkest Hour (whose reception is solid but underwhelming-a way-too-traditional “Oscar film”) to win Best Actor, and *- Two,* The Disaster Artist beats Call Me by Your Name in Best Adapted Screenplay.

"The Disaster Artist" can beats "Call Me By Your Name" in Screenplay and Actor, why not? But if "CMBYN" wins Screenplay and James Franco wins Best Actor, I'll be very very proud of it :)

Look as a filmmaker I’m sick of People saying he made this movie against all odds because he really didn’t he had in the supply of money to film it on. I’m a film Director and writer and I went to sets for years to build my reputation up to be able to raise money to film my own feature. That’s going against the odds. Not being wealthy and putting some of your money into a movie. My last production I made on roughly $6000 and everyone helping for free and guess what we got distributed. I know plenty of people like that to me that’s going against the odds.

Retro Puppet Master was NOT worse than The Room. However, The Room is at least entertaining . It makes you laugh, albeit unintentionally, but it's got that going for it. There are other flics that make you wonder, "HOW do I live in a world where Garbage Pail Kids or the Animated Titanic movie is allowed to exist?

' The Room ' is a well made absolute piece of shit and it always will be, like many other independant low budget movies on you tube. Tommy Wiseau is a lucky bastard for getting so much attention with his shitty movie. God only knows why.
