Primo tempo impressionante per Rossi all'andata. Alcune soste erano antologiche, come quella delle 3:33 quando si cantava già il gol, che è stata épica... Forza Milan!!

Quel Milan aveva una Qualità immensa.

Il livello di questa partita fu elevatissimo tra andata e ritorno. Oggi partita a questo livello tecnico non esistono

Velocità altissima e controlli di palla sempre perfetti. Passaggi e aperture millimetriche, fondamentali fuori scala. I vari leao Calabria bennacer Giroud e mi spiace anche Adli sono il nulla rispetto a questi giocatori. Maldini fa un gol alla levandoski

Ecco la formazione ideale che sognerebbe anche Silvio Berlusconi: Carnesecchi Bellanova Gabbia Mancini Calafiori Bennacer Loftus-Cheek Reijnders Mbappè Scamacca Retegui 7 italiani, 4 stranieri. Ma il Milan degli anni '90 era tutta un'altra cosa.

Bremen bench was creme de la creme. Gundelach, Bockenfeld, Hartgen, Wiedener

I love the fact it was only 5 subs allowed, and one was a goalie, so really it was 4 player subs. You were allowed to sub out only 3 players per game and only 3 foreign players were allowed to be on the pitch for each team. This is back before the Bosman rule and back when mostly Germas used to play for the German teams and mostly Italians used to play for the Italian teams. Today any EU player is considered "domestic" player and half of the players from South America have either Italian or Portuguese/Spanish passports and half of the players from Africa have a French passport. So thats how you have 10 African guys on the pitch playing for Olympique Lyon or 10 Argentinian/Brazilian guys playing for Atalanta. If you showed a game from just 5 years before this one (1988), all the Eastern European guys would be playing for their home club teams also, not helping the Italian or German teams win the European Champions League. Oh, and nobody was getting $100 million contracts. Or 50, or 20, or 10... the best few guys would maybe get 1 million + house+car (not Lamborghini or Bentley, more like Audi or BMW)+few other perks. God old days, they willl never come back.

Pensa che nell'89, nei quarti di finale, passammo grazie ad un calcio di rigore di Marco a S. Siro al ritorno e all'andata non avevano convalidato un gol regolarissimo.

no hanno sbagliato la grafica. Mario Basler era il 6 del Werder.

This defense with Tassoti, Desailly, Costacurta and Maldini, all legendary players, was absolutely terrible in the first game... Many times they didn't position themselves well, they didn't hold the line, they made a bunch of unsuccessful offside traps, etc... Only their individual quality, as well as the magnificent Rossi, they saved them... if a defense played a game like this today, everyone would say that they have no idea and that they are mannequins...

A quei tempi Desailly era centrocampista e non difensore, nella partita di andata il centrale di difesa accanto Costacurta era Galli.

Forse era inagibile..?? O forse era una parte di stadio riservata a gli ospiti(milanisti in questo caso) che non si e' riempito.Comunque e' strano perche' in Germania gli stadi sono sempre pieni.A Milano purtroppo in quegli anni lo stadio in Champions si riempiva solo per le semifinali.
