    They should publish all you say, for sure. I too COMPLETELY trust those guys. The customer service is what all these companies should strive for. I have, without any doubt, they're the most straight up in the level company in the space, by far. I started with their online fan, then the tent (10/10 there too), fabric pots and so on. The progression of this place has been fun to watch, but even moreso, experience has been infinity. I just can't say enough about those guys. I'm getting that light in the fall. Sold. My whole set-up is going to be them and I'm great with that. Yes, I'm an AC Infinity fanboy haha

    They are at the forefront of technology and innovation, which means they aren't like Apple at all 🤣 They offer cables to let you use other manufacturers lights with their controllers, sell adapters to use other humidifiers, etc. Apple is strictly proprietary ONLY, basically holding their customers hostage/extorting them. I see apple holding people down, I see AC Infinity setting people free. $100 controller that lets me directly control VPD parameters with buffers, can monitor from anywhere, has automations, instant alerts, target parameter holding? Yeah, suchhhhh a rip off eh? Bug off hater. Not defending their first and second attempt at lights, they ARE NOT highly regarded. Everything else though? Zero surprise they are number one in nearly every category on Amazon in sales with constant top rated products.

    @@Ledgrowlightsdepot agreed but in this particular case goes both ways, ACI and Apple both top performers in their class in respect to sales. I just can't get behind the required proprietary connectivity by Apple, slowing down phones, battery replacement nightmares etc. Needing repair plans etc. Out of 30+ ACI products I had an issue with 1, and it was a tiny small issue that didn't affect usability just convenience (backlight on AirTap fan broke, to my own fault) and they said no worries sending brand new one and had it within 2-3 days later. I didn't need a service plan to fix the screen or something silly, they stood FIRMLY behind their product and sent a brand new one immediately. THAT type of service garners my loyalty, and it's safe to say I've not heard many similar outcomes dealing with the "Geniuses" or Apple support, rather the very opposite

    have the evo 3 in a 2.5x4 tent. first time growing again in about 6 years, having used the blurple lights previously. after noticing the plants struggling i didnt realize how much overkill i had the evo set to. ended up having to dial it down to 50% at 18in for veg to hit that 550 PPFD spot with a pretty even spread. LED lights have come a long way in a short time. have to say my favorite change is having that smart controller on the exhaust & the AC infinity humidifier. have been able to maintain temp and humidity within +/-1 of the target.

    Efficiency rating ? Are you wanting how close to unity it is like power factor, efficacy rating of the chip's, or what. Now day's they are nearly all the same packing low wattage chips and high efficiency red's to get these numbers. I ran control center's overlooking area's the size of state's and your watt hour's will matter in the pennies in difference. Look for uniformity, even intensity spread, wide ban spectrums for m say 365nm-780nm with sharpe spike in 450nm and 660nm with plenty of 500s for better cri as well. Focus on better tuning towards what plants respond.

  • @Watson-ru4jn

    Yeah it's pretty misleading that they try to pass off the diode efficiency from the datasheet as the efficiency of their fixture

  • @Watson-ru4jn

    @Watson-ru4jn

    Жыл бұрын

    @@TexasGrown1978 how much light the fixture actually puts out per watt it's actually pulling from the wall. That 3.14 is just the efficiency of the 5k or mint white diode from Samsungs testing, with the diode being run at a much lower current in Samsungs testing than it is in the fixture, the 3k chips are less efficient than that even at test current, and samsungs testing doesn't account for driver losses. That being said if I had to guess I would say this fixture probably falls somewhere around 2.7 umols/j for the whole fixture (based on the # of diodes per watt) and that's still very good.

    @@Watson-ru4jn that's a fair analogy but watt hour's is actual pull from a nominal voltage say 110v in America but this is based on a 48v DC I'm guessing. My thoughts on the Evo 3 is I wish bars ran other way like 8 short bars. Also how u mention they are alot smaller than recommend size the light should fit nearly wall to wall this has 7.5 inches on both sides would've made for a much better light but I'm happy with it even tho spectrum looks like it does the visible color of the light is white thankfully I haven't had good results with the orangish color light. Unlike alot of other companies with the 5 year they only cover everything 6 months to 1 year then u are responsible for everything other than parts or labor. After paying shipping both ways and whatever other charges probably better off just replacing the light. This is why I try to stick with growers choice they have a 5 year and actually cover u the 5 years I had a roi-e680s roi-e720 die 3+ years into it and they sent me a new one with a prepaid return shipping label. I had a sp3000 mars light die little after 1 year and would've cost me more than I paid for light to get it fixed shipping both ways and labor they only would cover the parts.

    Not surprising AC Infinity is being shady. I own an AC Infinity Cloudline T6, a 4 x 4 Cloudlab, a 5 x 5 Cloudlab, and just bought a Cloudforge T3. The Cloudline still works after 3 years, but is full of gorilla tape around all the cord ports that keep popping out. So for the price, it gets a Meh. BOTH of my Cloudlabs have had serious light leak issues around the extended zipper (because they didn't make the inner liner wide enough) and the stitching at the vents. They are both full of black Gorilla tape to try to take care of all the light leakage. Again, for the price I should have just gone with a generic tent that would have had the same light leak issues but saved some money. The Cloudforge was a 3 day long battle just to get it to kind of maintain a steady humidity, it seems to be steady now, but at the price I wish I would have stuck to generic humidifiers hooked up to my Inkbird controller. AC Infinity is easily the most overpriced and over-rated brand in home growing.

    @@Androbench Got fiucked on warranty parts with ROI-E720's less than 3 months after I bought them. If you're an employee, its too late now bc when i tried to have the parts I needed replaced, LEDGLD told me to contact growers choice. When grower's choice didn't respond after a half a dozen attempts, I reached back out to LEDGLD again and even AFTER explaining that GC wasn't responding to any of my emails, the said they couldn't reach them for me although one would think you'd be in contact with the people who's junk lights you push. I have moved on and buy my lights directly from the american manufacturer now and I won't let a middle man get another cent out of me because they have proven their worth when its time to honor a warranty and went out of their way to fuck me out of that after bragging about their customer service and warranty policies everywhere. Any more questions? If you are an employee, don't even bother. You screwed the pooch and you're lucky all youve gotten is youtube comments about your trash company when I could go to a lot more places and put ya on blast. If you're not an employee trying to save face, I apologize for my rudeness and again, advise yuou to go elsewhere and Honestly, don't buy an AC Infinity light. Everyone is on this LM301 diode kick, and just like CXB3590's a few years ago that were gonna be the be all, end all in grow lights and they'll never be beaten by another chip. WRONG! and diodes will get more powerful and efficient as time goes on until the cap is reached on this ersion of diode technology.
