AC/DC: In Performance | Music Documentary | Rare AC/DC Performance Footage
Ойын-сауық
This is the ultimate review of the band, In Performance. The band’s explosive stage performances are subjected to in-depth analysis and features rare footage of the band on stage.
AC/DC is a British-Australian hard rock band, formed in 1973 in Australia by Scottish brothers Malcolm Young and Angus Young. His albums have sold an estimated total of 200 million copies, embarking on massive tours around the world and his hits have set several outstanding film productions to music. His performances are famous in live, resulting in vibrant and exultant shows of the highest order. Much of this is due to the extravagant style of its lead guitarist and visual symbol, Angus Young, who assumes the role of lead guitarist during concerts, thanks to his dynamic and adrenaline-pumping displays. stage uniform of a street schoolboy. In the beginning, the concerts and times for which they suffered various changes in their lineup. His presence on stage made him one of the most charismatic characters in the history of hard rock. The formation would stabilize with Cliff Williams (bass) and Phil Rudd (drummer).
In 1974 they ventured for the first time outside of concerts in local punk rock bands, which offered a sound counterpoint to the pompousness and lavishness of the bands that triumphed in the market at the time. They moved to Glasgow, where they came from. They landed at the height of punk rock, which contributed to the fact that, in a short time, they obtained enormous public acceptance, immediately occupying the first positions in sales.
The triumphant career of the group, sustained by the charismatic rudeness and the rhythmic power of the guitar mastery, will continue with the multimillion-dollar Highway to Hell, one of the most emblematic albums in the history of hard rock and which sold millions of copies, that catapulted them to fame and solidified them to superstar status.
When they were at their best, both commercially and artistically, misfortune crossed their paths, when on February 19, 1980, vocalist Bon Scott died of alcohol poisoning. However, despite those who found themselves on the verge of separation, the group placed their destiny in the voice of Brian Johnson, ex-vocalist of the group Geordie.
Back in Black (1980), the tribute album to the death of the mythical original singer and which, in the end, would end up becoming the third best-selling album in the history of music with more than 45 million units in the world, would fit Johnson's figure perfectly in the image of AC/DC. The success of this work triggered the sales of all previous albums, unleashing popular fervor for the band. By mid-1981, all previous albums had exceeded one million copies.
With four decades of history, the band has overcome lineup changes, the loss of historic members, controversy over its image and lyrics, and constantly changing musical trends, to become one of the most popular bands today. To date, they are one of the highest-grossing bands of all time. Since March 2003, the group has been included in the Hall of Rock and Roll Fame. Although they are commonly classified as hard rock and considered one of the great influencers of heavy metal, they have always classified their music simply as rock and roll.

@@onlyjoetee It really is a matter of personal opinion. If that is yours, I'm cool with that. If someone said the band was better with Bon, I also wouldn't argue. I love the band equally in the before and after.
If you say you are a acdc fan then all their recordings are gold.flick of the switch is one of the heaviest albums they have done. If you don't like it ,you ain't played it loud enough.

Yeah, Fots is one of their best records.
Flick Of The Switch's production is so raw and in your face. It's quite awesome to me. Always loved that album. Still gets my toes a tapping and me head a bobbin'.
I was around 9 years old when ACDC came on the scene here in Australia, and from the first time I heard them I was addicted. So, I was very lucky to grow up with them and watch them become megastars.
I’ve heard once, I think from Bon himself in an interview: “I’m the lightning bolt between the AC and the DC. I couldn’t agree more with that assessment. It is what it was and it was bound for success. There was no turning back at that point. With the entry of Cliff, it was like the final latch of the tumbler - which not only unlocked the door - it blew the fkn hinges OFF. That guy is a more than proper bassist for this act. Check out some isolated bass tracks. I was blown away at just how good this guy is.
Greatest Rock band ever, and their live performances are phenomenal.
Still The Greatest Live Band Ever
angus is the wildest guy on stage yet, sort of surprisingly, he's a tea-totaller.
Legends . Wouldve loved to catch these guys live back in the day . Would probably have hearing problems now but would still been awesome.
I got a burning feeling feeling. . When I start lisening this band and more likiing. The great SInger Bon SCOTT RIP my star
Love the live footage, kinda rare clips other than the more commonly seen stuff.
Thanks for uploading this Great video

Just because you dont know them. They're all people who have worked in the music business. Promoters and such. How can you say they're not important.
Brian’s early days voice with the band was such a thunderstorm, probably until razors edge tour.
Seeing that footage from Japan '81, I wonder if the brothers told Brian to tone it down some, Angus does all the moving around.
When do we think made Angus drop the school bag? By 1979 let there be rock video it’s gone live in Paris. But yet he’s wearing it on the Highway to hell album artwork.

He had a wireless transmitter in there, I think when they were able to make them small enough to fit on the guitar he didn't need it anymore. That how he was able to do a lot of the running around the stage without getting tangled up and even into the crowd. Not many if anyone was doing that at that time.

@@Glock27gunner prior to his transmitter being built into the back of the sg body it was affixed to the lower outer right side of the guitar strap (as can be glimpsed in some photos and videos).

Colin Hay of "Men at Work" is the perfect replacement 4 BrianJohnson 10 times better than Axle Rose reason being Colin Hay is Bon Scott the former lead singer of ACDC! ACDC fans are in for a shock! Bon Scott is alive and well. He is Colin Hay of "Men at Work" Because is it coincidental that they are both Aussies with Ancestral Roots to Scottland??? " The reason why he wanted out! The long time away on tour from his family and the demands of being on the road was more than he could take! He wanted to make music on his own terms and likewise to go on tour at his own conveinience! The song "Back in Black" was his resignation to move away from the spotlight! The lyrics were his signature resignation and the clue to how he would depart from the Band! "Back in black I hit the Sack! (Bon Scott was referring to how he would be supposedly found dead whlile he was asleep! and leaving the Spotlight by slowly fading to the darkness of returning back to a life of normacy away from the bright lights! "I have got nine lives! (He is referring to how he survived many dangerous events a Bike accident, alcoholisn and how he was going to reinvent himself!) "I have got "Cats eyes" (This is a important clue that he has successfully changed his identity! And the only way you would ever know its him if you ever saw him again is He had this rare "eye condition" that looked like how a Cat looks around because they would operarate independently of each other and moving in different directions! Now some people may say wait a minute they have different Birth dates! This is a common practice when hiding ones true identity together with a change of hairstyles! But I think he still played a active role in the Band with ACDC as a "Ghost Writer" because every song that ACDC sang after Bon Scotts supposed death sounded like he still had his "trait mark signature" on all of ACDC's songs! So its up to Colin Hay of "Men at Work" if he wants to come out "the darkness" of "Back in Black" to the Spotlight" to hey MTF's guess whose back from a "Back in Black" hyatus! And is there any photos of Bon Scott in a Coffin in a funeral service?? And how many photos does Colin Hay have of himself in his earlier years with him and his family??? The same goes for Morgan Freeman who is actually "Jimi Hendrix" and "Lady Gaga" who is actually "Amy Winehouse! And is it coincidental that all three just happen to burst on the Social Scene shortly after the supposed passing of these legendary "Musical Icons????? Can you imagine if all three decided to tour together. And their Band name would be called "Grievance Clean Detox Revival??? Sincerely, Patrick S.N. Iriarte "Nostradamus of the Marianas"

This is basically n AC/DC salespitch, not a documentary. Just their music and some who's? praising. These kind of things set the low bar for "documentaries". Better to just go listen to ACDC instead of having it cut off by unimportant babble.

Flick of the switch is the heaviest album in the Brian Johnson Era no doubt, and the most underrated imagine he'll bells on flick of the switch, it would be the let there be rock album of the 80s. My all time fav album has to be highway to hell, and the rest come in 2nd!!! Lol
