I give him credit . I mean it is what it is . When I saw GNR a few years ago , I thought “ Axl sounds like crap “!! But hey … they put on a 3 hour show and he seemed to have a ton of energy. I know this : Axl and I are the same age . I played In various R&R bands thru the years and if I had had back to back gigs , it was really hard to put on an awesome performance the next night . ( as a lead vocalist). Night # 1 was always the best . The 2nd ??? Ahhhhhhh ….. was ok . Thank God I wasn’t on tour or anything . I never said I was a great singer . No !! Yeah I can sing my ass off but a great singer will give you the best vocals if they have longevity. These songs are not easy !! Used to hurt my voice . Again -- one night a week they were awesome . But 2 or 3 shows a week were not good IMO . I would of never made it in a touring band . So Kudos to Axl ❤️🎵🤠

Respect, Axl Rose! He sang with Queen, as well. He can reach 8 octaves and this is impressive! No surprise Brian May from Queen invited him to join the band for a couple shows. No surprise Angus Young accepted him to join AC/DC for this tour. Axl is a huge fan of AC/DC. And by the way, he was never trying to replace anybody. I mean, Brian Johnson is irreplaceable, just like every huge rock legend, such as Freddie Mercury (RIP). I hope the legend Brian gets well soon and comes back to rock! Axl Rose, I respect you and your career! Peace out, people! This is just my opinion! :)

He keeps classic rhythm and blues with the hard rock feel of the 70's and even makes his solos sound perfect for the songs they're played in. He is the only true rock n roll guitarist out there today keeping the genre alive and he's not gonna stop till he dies.

Real AC/DC fans should respect the fact that AC/DC asked Axl to sing for them for the sake of the tour. From AC/DC "As much as we want this tour to end as it started, we understand, respect and support Brian's decision to stop touring and save his hearing. We are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of our touring commitments to everyone that has supported us over the years, and are fortunate that Axl Rose has kindly offered his support to help us fulfill this commitment." Now for those who nitpick AXl's weight, aren't you forgetting that Brian Johnson also used to be thin when he was young and now he's got a gut sticking out. It's called aging. And for those who still want to nitpick, let me hear YOU hit those high notes yourself and let's see if you could do a better job.

Axl Rose is not an average rocker, he's a super rock star, on the top of the constelation. He created a style of this own that could never be recreated by anybody, he's the face of the 90's rock, his voice is unparelleled. Nevertheless he humbled himself down to go and sit in for a fellow rocker in a legendary band and and be bound to be vebally abused by fans of AC DC. In this moment he's shown to the world that he's bigger than life. Hats off to a true living legend. More respect with Axl, he doesn't need money and doesn't need to show anything to anybody.

I bet it has been an eye opener for Axl to see how a band like AC/DC manages their personal lives. So professional and consistent, compared to what he has lived. But I think he has done a stand up job. This cannot be easy to step into the very big shoes of Brian Johnson.

Axl sounds okay, tbh. Different than Brian but then again Brian sounded different than Bon. I think newer fans who weren't around for Bon are having a harder time accepting Axl as the lead singer of AC/DC. For younger people, Brian is all they've known. Older fans understand that the lead singer has changed before and could change again. btw, Axl is younger than Brian so there's also that!

well thats a bit silly because i know a lot of younsters who discoverd acdc through cds and videos and are in favour of bon scott, how many people who were born in the 80s,90s much prefer the old pink floyd albums like wish you were here , dark side ofr the moon or meddle recorded in the 70s

Though I was hoping (but not expecting) they would get someone who evoked Bon's legacy more than Brian's, (was never a fan of Brian, though I respect the guy) I gotta say that Axl nails the Brian stuff, and probably pulls off the Bon stuff about as well as Brian did (which is not great IMO, but he manages). Considering Brian's long standing tenure, I don't really expect them to try to recapture the Bon era after almost 40 years. I can't really think of a better choice to pull off Brian's insanely unique vocal feats.

Umm. I never knew Axl ever played with the masters. As difficult as this is to say, I honestly, (at this point) couldn't think of anyone who can scream and hold those notes like our previous loves could. In a jam? Call Axl. He pulled it off. They deserve it. Thanks for the memories..Always!

Axl was the man of the year. Broke his foot...sang from a throne loaned to him by a guy he used to feud with. Kills it with AC/DC and Guns n Roses...at the same time...alternating gigs. On time, 3 hr shows. He didn't turn over a new leaf, he flipped the whole damn tree.
