This video will show step-by-step process how to remove and replace AC Air Conditioning compressor on 2003-2007 Honda Accord (same as 2004, 2005 & 2006 DX LX EX model and years - 7th Gen) and very similar to other Acura and Honda models such as Civic, CRV, Element, Pilot & Odyssey. This DIY auto repair video was done on our 2004 Honda Accord 2.4L.
Looking for a new AC Compressor? If you want a genuine OEM part, you can always go to the dealer and order anew one, or if you don't mind a used one, you can always go to the junk yard or buy them cheap on eBay. But there's a lot of good quality after market AC compressor for your 7th generation Honda Accord or any other cars domestic or imported regardless of model years for that matter available on Amazon.com. Just a tip, what i do when a bolt is a little too loose for a socket wrench, pinch the socket with your fingers so it doesnt go back the wrong way. If youre using the box end of a ratcheting wrench, hold your thumb on the head of the bolt and while you ratchet it down

Hey Aiman,u need to tell pops to back off and let you handle this. If you want to reuse the same o rings then that should be good enough for him. And you should be allowed to remove the compressor from the vehicle yourself, if he wants to remove it then he should do everything else as well. Also your looking a lil bigger in the arms man, you've been working out at all?
Where did you get the 90 degree Angle Driver from (The Milwaukee), and spec's. I.E. what is it, model, voltage etc.? Thank you , and thank you for the video.

What’s the torque specs on a 2003 Honda accord wheels?
Do you have to add freon after replacing the compressor?

Yes, otherwise there is no cold air. Not a good idea to run your compressor without any freon as it also doubles as a lubricant (oil).

No they just took the cap off of the high side and pushed down on the valve stem with a flat head screw driver. I don't recommend doing this because if there's freon left in there and you accidentally breathe it in or get it on your skin it is no bueno.

@Aiman, At 6:24, that component is the cover for the resonator chamber inlet. It prevents water, oil, sand and other things from getting into the resonator, and the air intake. The resonator chamber is the plastic box ( under the chassis) through which the intake air is drawn and it connects to the air filter box. It's job is to mute the sound of air rushing into the air intake. Without the resonator, you will hear a loud moaning sound coming from the air filter box. With the hood closed, it would seem like the sound is coming from the front right tyre, due to echo.

@@brentventosa6011 That is nuts. This at most, is a $300 job. Then again, I live in South Texas where the economy is cheaper.
You know there is a $10000 fine for putting freon into atmosphere.

it’s not a central ac
