How To Remove / Replace Fan Motor or Blade (Radiator/Condenser) on 2003 2007 Honda Accord 2.4L 4 Cyl

This is a step-by-step DIY aut repair video on how to remove the fan motor or just the fan blade (radiator / condenser) on a 2003-2007 Honda Accord, which include years 2004, 2005 & 2006 model EX, LX & EX, although the procedures should be very similar on most Acura & Honda models such as Civic, CRV, Element, Pilot & Odyssey.
Our A/C Condenser motor for our 2003 Honda Accord 2.4L wasn't working and we had to replace it. The genuine OEM motor is actually quite expensive, around $300, it's a Mitsuba style motor. Fortunately we found a cheaper TYC motor on Amazon with free shipping for under $40 here: www.amazon.com...
The process is actually very easy and not too time consuming. You will need to remove the fan shroud assembly which require removal of a few bolts, electrical wiring connectors and hoses Once the shroud has been removed, you can replace the motor or the fan blade on the shroud.
Removal and installation for the radiator motor should be the same as the condenser motor. Keep in mind that this video is assuming that you fan motor assembly is genuine OEM because aftermarket motors are slightly different.

Holy crap!!!!! You're a hands down the best KZread DIY repair video personality I have seen. I wish you had videos for every single repair I will every have to do. Your video is so perfect. Your timing, your reasoning, your voice is so clear and easy to understand you don't waste time talking about things that are completely irrelevant to the project. You make sure to get close-ups on the parts that you're working on you go at a reasonable speed and don't fast forward through parts that might be not interesting but are still relevant and beneficial for viewers I have a Honda Odyssey the fan setup is a little different but I feel fairly confident after watching your video. I found it because I only want to replace the motor and not the entire assembly and there are very few videos that focus on replacing the motor specifically. I just don't have the extra cash for the entire unit today and don't want to drive with a dying fan.

this helped a lot. Thank you! Watched several videos (a few of yours too) Was quoted almost $800 to fix my a/c and Fan issue... I swapped my cooling fan motor myself in about 1 hour, paid $71.00 for that and also swapped a relay switch ($15), and the PCV valve ($24 - I could have got it cheaper but didn't feel good about the part quality).... All in all, I saved a ton of money and my issue is fixed.... (posting the same Thank you message on several vids...)

On some videos i see others taking out one fan. How is this? In this case you took out two fans that were connected together? Are you able to separate these fans by removing bolts?

Both fans use the same motor right? My a/c fan is out but my radiator fan is also not working. I’m positive the motor for the radiator fan is out not sure about the ac fan yet. But they have to use the same motor right?

Great video but the link you provided for Amazon is outdated. I have a 2004 honda accord ex 2.4l and Amazon indicated it does not fit my car. In Amazon customer comments people kept mentioning earlier model years. Therefore, this link is not for 2003-2007 honda accord condenser fan motors. Currently there are no ac condenser fan motors for 2003-2007 honda accord, none came up. However, good job in video.
