It’s not even close to what it should be. The guidance unit was on a telescopic mount and could actually elevate about 1m higher than the fixed height it’s at in game. Not to mention it could also be dismounted upto 100m away allowing the launcher to be well concealed when firing.

Good idea, trash movie

It kills me. There are very strict rules about how content creators have to clearly identify and talk about sponsorships and content, but then KZread commercials interrupt the vid to advertise scams and rip-offs. From crappy Apple watch knock offs, to fake monoculars, USB chargers that claim to repair your device's battery and a cell phone app that will disinfect things with UV.

Hampden isn’t even a bomber, it’s a fighter with the capability of carrying 3 1000lb bombs. I have chucked it into 7.3+ ground rb and it still gets three kills easily.

@@broyderpole7497 it has very good manoeuvrability (feel like a heavy or even light fighter) coupled with a fantastic payload for its br (and for higher br considering it’s agility, speed, and main gun). It also has a main gun (true it’s a 7.7 but it can and will destroy other aircraft at its br and above), whilst it’s defensive armament is also quite lethal and has decent firing arcs (just a shame ai gunners are so bad). The Hampden is one of my favourite aircraft to fly.

It’s called the Swingfire for a reason. In the hands of a capable operator such as Phly, it really can swing fire.

One of the things that made the swingfire vehicles so awesome IRL is that the missiles could be operated remotely. One of the biggest dangers to an ATGM crew or vehicle is having to sit exposed during the flight time of the missile just after revealing yourself with the usually quite noticeable blast of the missile firing, so with swingfire you can park the vehicle entirely behind cover and the gunner be dismounted hidden almost impossible to see many meters away, both vehicle and opperator almost impossible to engage and yet able to fire the weapon perfectly. shame we cant do that in warthunder haha

You could say my Deja-vu is a little... Odd.

If the optic system uses a mirror pair to reflect the image 90 degrees down then 90 degrees again to get the image back to horizontal in the turret then that little amount of movement makes sense since you could only tilt the top mirror so much until the image is not projected onto the second mirror. Adding additional focusing lenses in the space between the mirrors may help get a few more degrees of depression but not much.

btw phly rp-3s got obviously changed in the rocket update. they now: 1. drop more at longer range 2. converge 3. drop less at close range i couldn't fire them while zooming in but zooming out helped me.

Man as a type 60 player I am always jealous of the Swingfire, its pretty cool although I am not a big fan of British vehicles. But it has better aiming, missile performance and more ammo.

I find I actually do better with the Swingfire than the Striker, and I think it's mainly due to that periscope the sight is mounted on. The problem with it is that it kind of has a minimum firing range on level ground, where you will be unable to hit things that are too close to you.

I don't play War thunder, but I love watching your videos!
