My dad came to CA in 1934 to attend UC, Berkeley. I was born in 1949 and grew up in the SF Bay Area and northern CA. I left in 1995 and moved to the southeastern US. What happened in California starting in the early 70s was so sad to watch. I never regretted leaving, but regret heavily what my home state has become.

It's one of the main reasons she couldn't hack being in the royal family. She thought she was going to waltz in and attend all the glamerous events, wearing fancy dresses and tiaras. When it came to turning out on a cold, wet weekday morning to meet with a mayor in some little town she'd never heard of or cared about, she didn't want to do it. She simply was not prepared to put the work in, and that's why her Spotify podcasts failed. It was announced they both only do 1 hours work on their foundation Archwell, per week. I FORCED myself to listen to the first 2 episodes of MM's podcast. It was painful. But the 3rd episode on singleness was so offensive to me as a single/never married woman that I couldn't stomach it to even force myself to listen to any more. Again, that 3rd episode on singleness was so offensive, it was awful. She (& PH) deserves all the rubbish being heaped on her. And to now learn that she only interviewed 2 woman - ie A-List Celebrities, not anyone else... how lazy & also offensive to the other women! I wished PH all the best as he married Mm, but something didn't sit right with me about her, and especially with their engagement interview, yikes! She quickly soured on me, and I've not liked the couple since. It took everyone long enough to wake up on these 2 grifters. What they did to their family, especially to dying PP, then dying Queen was absolutely unforgivable. They sent the Queen to a premature grave (but at least she's free of them). Then they didn't give the new King, his father, an easy start to his reign. I'm so glad the Americans have finally woken up to this pair. I'm glad that Hollywood has openly turned their backs on these two. About time! But again, that 3rd podcast was really offensive & had me in tears, it was so hurtful. I wasn't expecting to be put down by that podcast. She's now getting what she deserves. So is PH. About time!

Especially the non-important story of having to plan her wedding as an assignment from her Religion class teacher. She was so breathy about it and Oh no I could never have planned the wedding that I actually did have. Yes, she forgot she had already been married before. The point is that she seems to need to re-live the past of her school years especially with that dish soap ad. I'm American and the first time I ever heard of an actress named Meghan Markle was when she got involved with Prince Harry. So many Americans had no idea who she was. Although she thought very highly of herself LOL and then since everything at heard about her seemed to stem from that I actually had no idea she was an American let alone that she was an actress. After hearing about her I thought she was on a British TV show. Even though a lot of Americans will deny it they'd never heard of her either until she came out with her victim mentality and accusations of racism. Which was very canny of her considering how sensitive subject it was especially during that time with everybody claiming racism.

The fact that some people can’t keep MM and or Prince Harry name out of their mouth says a lot.

Megyn Kelly is so spot on. Respect for the outspoken talent agent for being *honest*. When I was a kid, I had a much more positive perception of Hollywood’s celebrities (though I was never a fan of any of them). Nowadays, i have no respect for “celebs”. I save my respect for people who deserve it, such as astute pilots, brilliant military men, inquisitive oceanography experts, and the like. Doctors not included, as the US healthcare system, of which doctors are an integral part, is deplorable. There are good doctors out there, but they are getting increasingly difficult to find. Respect must be earned. Megan Harkle and Harold are not even at the level of Hollywood celebs. In my opinion, they’re the most overrated, meaningless couple on this planet.

Too true. I know of many young couples who refuse to have children because of the current laws and insanity here.

Harry and Meghan will forever be a joke now. Very sad because they had so much potential to do good things.

THe definition of "child abuse" has become insane. There are always times when good parents have to say "NO" to their children. True, we like to do what we can for our kids, but there are times when parents deem it "too dangerous" or "not appropriate." And in those cases, the parent is the right person to make the decision. And anyone considering body altering "care" needs psychiatric care or at least long term counseling first. That doesn't mean a 1 hour visit. It means long term care, not to "affirm" (which is not the job of a therapist), but rather to explore what is going on with the person. Are there other issues? Why is this change desired? What do they think will be improved by this "change?" THe government has no place in these decisions.

Some of the things she talks about are spot on, but to me to make a living by constantly putting down others and getting off on their suffering is also a sign of a narcissist.
