Great to see MVG throwing something like he's capable of, been a while coming.

Easily the highest standard of darts I have seen in a very long time. Some times all you can do is hold your hands up and say I was beat by the better man on the night. Any other game on any other day and Gerwyn Price probably nils most other Players. Great match from both!

No question about it, MVG, Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright are the elite players of their generation! Love watching these guys play, it’s mind blowing how great they are! Gerwyn is often booed by some of the fans, but he handles it extremely well, and I love his passion and fierce competitive nature! I don’t believe he gets the respect that he truly deserves!

I'm a Belgian but we love to see the Dutch play. Whether it's darts, football, or f1, reigning champion or not, they always come in swinging. Gotta love that!

For the commentary at 13:07 Price has injured his left hand during his rugby career and can properly move like 2 or 3 fingers only on that hand. That's why he drops so many darts

I mean I don't know Price personally but our German commentators tell that in about half of his matches so I guess it's the true reason

Was hard to fault either player, played in great spirit, from 2 heavyweights of the darting/sporting world. So many good dart players these days, its just a pleasure to watch. Look forward to every dart comp at present

Michael got the following right in this match: - timing of the release of his darts -slight upward angle of the darts upon release -not pushing the darts downwards with his fingers when he pulls the darts back. Thats why he reached this godlike level, like he was in his prime. You will notice that he hits more 180’s and got really good grouping.

And he also took his time more. Several times I noticed him take a second to compose himself before he threw instead of just chucking his darts

I enjoyed watching price this match, he seems to of calmed his attitude a bit. Both players performed exceptionally.

That was a great match, amazing performance from both players

Has to be one of the best games of darts for quality on both sides. U had that feeling that that the crowd knew they were witnessing a special match between 2 of the finest in today's game. Defo both in my top 5 along with anderson, Wright and Smith.

I hope these 2 meet in the World's this year and start a nice rivalry like Barney and MVG have had in the World's over the years

This was a great and entertaining match. Two great players, I wish I were as good as. I'm still a beginner at Darts. I've only accumulated ~20 hours of practice in the last 3 weeks. It takes me ~60 darts to circle the clock and I only have a 12% accuracy at hitting treble 20's so far. I at least have noticed a good deal of improvement. I use a basic Narwhal Kingston Dart Board and the cheapo green and red steel tip darts from super markets placed at pro regulation height while throwing from 7 feet 9 and a quarter inches away.

That's why you're not having much success. Buy a Winmau or Unicorn dartboard. Even their cheapest ones usually come with darts. It's not expensive, and you'll see a big difference compared to what you're using now.

I started playing darts with humongous sized brass el cheapo la bomba's which were bigger then the bullshit coming out of Donald Trump's mouth. I threw my first 180 that same day. The thing that makes me never forget that day wasn't the 180 but how the hell all 3 of those humongous darts could somehow simultaneously fit in the same triple 20. That's how huge these things were. I eventually got to a point where the darts were starting to hold me back cause of their size and then i switched from brass to tungsten. The only improvement really was the better fit because of the thinner barrels. Anything else is just for finetuning or snake oil.

One thing about Michael is he's not gonna miss a double from outside.He goes right at the double and that separate s him from alot of players.most try to be close without going inside but Michael isn't afraid to go for it
