This is what happens when the younger generations get a taste of what true talent is. I was born in '79 and grew up in Brooklyn in the 80's where Bee Gees were played on the radio all the time until at least the 90's. We take for granted how great music was compared to today. They are pure magic.

As beautiful as this song is, How Deep Is Your Love, I think, is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. It's absolutely amazing. As wonderful as Barry's voice is, Robin and Maurice are just as talented. While the Beatles and the Stones were cranking out top 40 hits, the Bee Gees were too. All three bands were staples of radio in the 60's. But there is nothing like sibling harmony. Pure heaven.

And they really stand the test of time. I can close my eyes, drift back to high school and sing along with every word. The Brothers Gibb (BeeGee's-Barry, Maurice and Robin) also had a (4th) younger brother named Andy you should check out. He also had a very successful, but brief, singing career. He died tragically, very young.

All 3 brothers wrote and composed this song, they never realised it was going to be as big as hit as it was Due to the album sales UNICEF have received $M from this one song}. I have been listening to them since 1975 approx, went to disco's danced away with them and of course have watched Saturday Night Fever countless times. I was scheduled to see them in concert in 2003 in Brisbane Australia and heard the news on the radio Maurice had died. If you're challenging Michal Jackson's record of number of Number 1 Hits, you're way past boy band. wiki says: The Bee Gees are the third-most successful band in Billboard chart history behind only two others. The Beatles & (not Michael Jackson) Having lived through the times, I can believe it.

Welcome to the rabbit hole. Once you've fallen in, well there's so much more about the Bee Gees to discover ! As distinctive as Barry's voice is, Robin's is just as uniquely different as well. You need to check out " For Whom the Bell Tolls " for Robin's unique voice. Or check out " Children of the World " when they sing a capella. Welcome to the journey !!!!!

"Too Much Heaven" is a song by the Bee Gees, which was the band's contribution to the "Music for UNICEF" fund. They performed it at the Music for UNICEF Concert on 9 January 1979.

They were born on the Isle of Man which is a protectorate of the UK. They then moved to Manchester in the UK before emigrating to Australia. They came back to the UK and had some success before moving to the USA. They had loads of great songs over many decades and genres and also wrote songs for other famous singers. I believe that Robin is buried in the UK.
