Absolute Gold Mine Of ABANDONED Electronics Hidden For 10 Years In This Beautiful House!! √177
I don't even know what to say, on this tour we explore a house abandoned since 2014 after being bought by a developer for the land. With evidence of a Squatter in 2020.
This house is an absolute time capsule of electronics with computers, laptops, monitors, 15+ TV's, cords cables and absolutely everything that's come out in the electronics works over the last decade! Plus so so so much more! It looks like it could have been a hoarder situation or possibly used as a storage house by the family or maybe even the squatter!
I need your help to determine just what happened here in this absolutely amazing abandoned time capsule!!

I get the impression that this place has been used for storage rather than someone's home in its later years. Must have been a nice home for someone at sometime.

It must have been a nice house at one time. Those small square windows were often placed on each side of the fireplaces in the older homes. Sometimes they would have built ins below the windows for knick knacks/books. That tall metal tower like thing in the kitchen was a patio heater. Great find Brandon, happy 2024 to you and yours🎉

Whenever I see an old TV, I think of the 36" CRT TV I had to move on my own (friend's father had a bad back, friend was out of town) - and I was in my prime then & to this day it's the heaviest item I've ever moved (time for a yo mama joke?). I can't say 'carried', since I only had it off the ground once while I lifted it onto a slab of thick plywood. To see people picking up 60" LED TV's on their own, it's amazing how far tech has come. And how much lighter it is. Oh my back.... Oh! and I had that same RC copter!! It was loud, scary & the very first time I used it, I toggled the throttle (up) until it was about 25ft off the ground, let go of the toggle, but it kept going. The 40mph wind gusts I was going to avoid by not going that high, took the copter from me forever, into a large city park. Someone's dog is gonna bring home a weird fetch item. Just hope it never landed on someone or someone's car....

Hey # Brandon, what was that tall glass cylinder with a black to on it? It was by that y'all heater looking thing kitchen area? I don't think a hoarder brought all this electronic stuff in. It has to have been the previous owner that was probably a electronic tech guy! And you are correct, this place is a gold mine. Tons of gold in all those devices! Tons! 💜✌️

I worked in IT and build my own gaming computers. Sadly you would think all those computers would be worth something but no. The two in the basement had the stickers on the case and they said AMD Athlon and an Intel Core 2 Duo. These are from around 2002-2006. Computers do not increase in value with age like antiques. Even if they worked they are worth around $20.

I didn't see a work bench, tools, test equipment, or bins with 100s of parts that an electronic repair technician would need. My first instinct, since everything was in disorder, the squatter may have been a professional burglar. Those black lacquer oriental panels would go good with the others I have.

Wow that was quite a varied and sometimes odd collection. How did they even walk through the house. Strange that there was actually an empty room upstairs. Maybe he wanted to repair everything and try to sell it all. Where does one amass such a collection of old laptops. The house itself was probably so nice in its prime. I wonder how long it took to collect so much. Thanks Brandon for sharing this interesting old place.

People can get them out in public just bumping up against another person. I used to be a nurse that went to patience homes. Be really cautious and smart.

I fail to see how a squatter could gain all that in two years. My best guess is storage for a now defunct flea market and lot of those electronics are obsolete. There gonna need an extra roll off dumpster or two when they demolish that one! Often older houses with fireplaces have those small windows, always two, always on each side of the fireplace. Thanks for the tour Brandon and congratulations on the record breaking count on the premere! It will be broken again. 🤠👍

That house doesn't appear to have been abandoned all that long ago. If you hadn't shared the information on it being sold to a developer, I would have said it wasn't. And while their may have been a squatter in there, the typical signs of someone squatting don't appear to be there either (beer cans, food debris, feces, piled up clothing). This really looks as though someone was actively storing flea market merchandise there for their booth/station, possibly obtaining it from storage lockers. It doesn't speak of a hoarder at all. None of the items look like stuff left behind from someone that passed on or moved away either. And if this person repaired the electronics, I would think we would have seen boxes of parts everywhere, hand tools, a workbench, soldering irons, multipurpose meters, etc, none of which were seen anywhere in the house.

Only that GENESIS MEDIA LABS 5.1 SURROUND SOUND RECEIVER G-608 DIGITAL SERIES at the basement in working condition is about 1000 dollar. Mabee he liked to collect stuff, thinking it might come to use. (A bit like me.) Maybe he collected old electronics. People throw away anything those days. Some of the furnitures seems old too. The eagle has probably only valuable for a Canadian.

@15:00 small windows comment... could it be that's the side of the house facing the wind? Less heat loss through smaller windows. Maybe the builder had lived through enough -40 degree winters to want to have a warmer refuge where the fireplace wouldn't have to work as hard. idk but from the inside the little windows look like pictures on the wall. quirky aesthetics?
