The absolute best exploration I've ever seen on KZread! I just didn't want it to end. Shame you didn't find the op theatres or, dare I say it, the morgue! Super creepy, but more super sad than anything. I can't imagine what all those patients and staff went through. I'd love to see you do a paranormal investigation there. I'm sure you'd get loads of great evidence!

The torches are used by the night shift so they can check on the patients instead of putting the main lights on while they do their rounds! Fabulous explore just seeing a hospital with everything still there patients belongings, medication etc etc……. Thank you for the tour 😊 The wards where they had so much stuff might of been Mental Health patients who would spends months to years in hospital.

Incredible video! Loving the Japan series! I kept thinking what it must’ve been like to be a doctor or nurse during that time. What if a surgeon had been in the middle of an open heart surgery when the earthquake hit and then to be told to evacuate. Would they risk their own life to continue the surgery and save the patient or let the patient die? I’m sure there are protocols, but to imagine the chaos and the choices that had to be made. My heart goes out to all those nameless heroes who sacrificed their own lives and safety to save others.

It would be interesting if there could be made a documentary about the real survivors. But on the other hand, why open up bad memories that just would give more nightmares 😢😢. Thank you so much for risking it to bring us this content. Be careful out there. ❤

That noise is the Venturi effect in the building. I won’t explain it. Look it up. A building can create its own wind…think of what it’s like when you leave a stadium, and a strong wind pushes you out through the doors, or the air flow makes opening a door difficult. The air in this building may enter in through broken windows or open doors, causing a wind tunnel type of effect, and it will build on itself. I experienced this on the streets of St Louis years ago. Chicago….the “Windy City”, same. I don’t know why he thinks this is “spooky”….it’s a building. Chernobyl….now THAT was a spooky place.

With all the mold, much of it appears to be black mold to me, which is toxic, and the rotting food among other decaying and destroyed parts of the structure, I don’t know if it can be cleaned up and repaired sufficiently to safely house anyone at this point. There’s still radiation there as well. With their limited time spent in there and not going into the most highly radioactive areas, these guys stayed safe. It’s still not safe for permanent residents. Just so incredibly sad to see how much of their lives were left behind.

Wow Dave, this was your best explore yet. What an awe-inspiring place and such a tragedy what happened. Being a car nut, it was awful seeing all the abandoned cars. Considering how bad the earthquake was, the window and doors are surprisingly intact! You could feel the atmosphere in there… I once got into the North Wales Mental Hospital (Denbigh) and that was insane for atmosphere and very spooky. Ignore the idiots who mention stealing things - they’re usually the ones who would actually steal stuff. Take care fella with that radiation.
