With the weather gods finally answering our prayers for no wind and low swell we made the decision to head over to the Abrolhos Islands for a couple of days fishing. Armed with a variety of tackle to try, much more than what we needed head packed up and headed off. The fishing was extremely tough with lots of fish showing on the sounder but not much willing to bite. We did manage to land a couple reasonable fish on jigs and soft plastics which was great but the sharks also made it difficult at times. Nevertheless the Abrolhos Islands are a fantastic place to visit and a must for all anglers to fish at least once in their lifetime!
