I've seen both Eclipse and Luna while in Sint Maarten and, though Eclipse is beautiful, Luna is stunning.

I’m torn between Eclipse and Luna...both are equally stunning in their own way. Great vid, and good job on the research for this vid...

Love these videos! Pelorus was my favourite yacht up until recent. Love her lines! Eclipse is stunning too.

LGB! My all time favorite of Roman’s yachts.

Love Eclipse. I like all of them, Eclipse has clear and beautifully shaped and lined features. Rather the space and take it easy over a long distance than anything else, except that is for all the exceptional equipment he has on board!

Eclipse because it's a BMF! Thanks for all the Research /Homework you do to bring these video's to us! keep up the good work!

La Grande Blue because it would become a support vessel and delivery ferry for my sailboat. I just love the way a sailboat feels underway.

Luna was my favourite. although the new expedition yacht he is currently having built (by Lloyd Werft, same builder as Luna) known as 'Project Solaris' looks like it could end up being my new favourite once it's completed.

i've been on luna twice and can't wait for the scaffolding to be removed, which was put up around the dock, where solaris is being built. once she floats, i guess i'll be going onto solaris also, before she departs.

I have seen Eclipse in the Kyles of Bute and have a photo of her with a stunning background. She is amazing

Luna visited Lake Ontario a few years back during the Toronto Film Festival. She anchored close to our place at the south/west end of the lake, near Hamilton, Ontario. Quite the curiosity for locals. It was fun to watch pleasure craft going out to have a close look at her and seeing the security detail wave them off. Good video.

Le Grand Blue, I have always like it and was able to see it in person this summer in Copenhagen. Very nice and just my style.

"LGB" reminds me of the late Paul Allen's smaller yacht M/Y Tatoosh just not as sophisticated and elegant..

Saw Eclipse when it was moored off the coast in Cyprus 2 years ago. What a vessel.

Le Grand Bleu was in Stavanger for the oil show many years ago. She took up almost all the South pier space! Amazing to see close up 😁

I have some good pictures of Eclipse when it was docked on the river Clyde.

I'll take "Eclipse" over all the others.

The funny thing about this yacht is, that in the first place it was announced by inofficials, that the total price was something arround 500Mil.; later magazines and the news told about 750Mill. One to two years later, everyone rized the price up to a Billion.........ohhhh..... and now what a surprise .....it's price tag just doubled up to 2 Billion .........SERIOUSLY???????

Luna was in San Diego for over a year. Stunning yacht. It was kept at cruise ship terminal as it was only place big enough for it to tie up. He was paying 25k a week to moor it

Thanks for taking the time and effort to research this and post! I like slow big and luxury as that's what i think a Superyacht should boast why would you want speed? My favourite is #5 Le Grand Blue or LGB i love the uniqueness of this ship and the opportunity to have both a 40ft launch and yachts for small sailing and cruising once you reach a Island or Bay. I have a small 18foot boat and can go right into a beach even up to the shoreline that a bigger yacht or boat simply cannot do so to me this makes perfect sense to have a smaller yacht or boat on board as well. Also i took a close look at LGB around 10 years ago when it visited us here in Auckland New Zealand - it stood out and was a no-expense-spared ship so was beautifully crafted. I loved the colours of this boat - deep royal naval hull colour with white on the deck and lots of silver stainless steel fittings. You can see Roman Abramovich loved LGB as he bought another one similar to it called Luna.

LGB certainly has numerous tender vessels 🤔 You can refer to them as „The LGBT Fleet“ 🏳️‍🌈🤣

I go with the last one which is the "Eclipse" because of it's massive guest cabins.

Some beautiful yachts but his current yacht ECLIPSES the rest. Sleek, elegant... just magnificent.

My choice falls into Sussuro, love her Terrence Disdale interior/exterior design ... she fast and despite the years still a very attraktive vessel! She was for sale unofficial this year by one of the major yachts brokers firms, got the news letter. She is kept in privacy al all costs.

Lovely to look at, but sadly I get sea sick on the Woolwich ferry.

I hope you make a lengthy video about why people like yacht so much. I grew up beside the sea and never have that kind of craze about a boat or car or house even if I have that kind of money.

Felice Graziano Well here’s the solution: Keep Eclipse for the nice warmer climates, and then meet Luna for your expeditions to the colder iced over climates. It’s a win...win!!!

He buys super yachts like normal people buy cars. But it's his money and he's never been shy about spending it. Le Grand Blue is my favourite.

I would go with the explorer yachts!

I guess mine would be Sussurro... Weird, quirky, kinda cool styling, looks like something owned by a villain in a Roger Moore era Bond film!

My favorite is LaGran Blue because of her capabilities. Very versital. I prefer yachts with range. The one he has with the long range isnt all that impressive. Have seen smaller yachts in the 80 meter with longer range. If I want speed, i'd fly in my jet ( if I could afford one of these yachts, you bet I would also own a jet and helicopter.). Great video. Interesting facts. Thankyou.

@@visionist7 i understand that. Which is impressive. But at a high cost though. At 20 knots he can cross the atlantic in 4 1/2 days. Might take 9 at 10 knots but youd save a ton of money in desiel.

yes. it's being built at Lloyd Werft and it's called Project Solaris.

The ECLIPSE is about equal to the DILBAR as far as I am concerned. They’re about even as far as passengers, I don’t remember if E mentioned the number of crew for the Eclipse...

My favourite is Sussurro because my mate is chief engineer on it , I have been on it a few times and in the engine room it has two huge V12 Paxman engines and two gas turbines which is why it's a fast yacht. It's been in the ship yard most of the year due to the boat next to it catching fire and causing a lot of damage to Sussurro.
