I quite often wonder what music I like sounds like to somebody that doesn't like it. Like, does it actually sound different to them, to what it does to me or do they simply just not like it? I just don't understand how if somebody is hearing something like this, sound exactly the same as I am hearing it, then how they can possibly dislike it. I try and listen to it from another point of view (if you get what I mean by that) but I just can't. I just can't get my mind round how they dislike it. It's weird.

Damn it’s been 8 years. Christmas Eve, family is over and cousins are waiting for me to play some smash bros with them. I’m in my room listening to this song and I got doubts about this girl I’ve been talking to and waiting on a message from her to see if plans were still a go. Feeling down on myself because I was getting no response from her and feeling anxious because I was supposed to be with family and not locked up in my room. Fast forward to now and we’re married 5 years and together for 8. Dreams do come true.

Thanks for sharing. My story is quite similar. The lyrics "you got to choose a direction and when the moment is right for you, you got to go" appealed to me at the time. I was making the decision to move in with her in another city. We are married for 5 years as well.

I just started reading "The Alchemist" and turned on this song because I wanted something low-key on repeat in the background. Half way through the book I finally paid attention to the lyrics for a short moment and realized this song was the perfect soundtrack.

Hearing this again after a few years. Need to remember the path I'm on and stick to it. The sky's the limit. And it belongs to no one.

This is so touching. It's like this remix finally revealed the true force of the track. Oceanwave of thanks. Since i first listened, the vocals echoed and looped in my ears like pure magic. When you enjoyed the first half of the track and think that you get to really, really like it...then at 3.30 the bass starts to sychronize to your breath and draws you right in the middle of the sphere, where the molecules of harmony are dancing eternally, and you whish that this song had no ending.

Agreed! Love the original and the Kyau & Albert remix, but there is something about this song that the original lacks. Like you said, this remix showcases the true force and emotional energy of the track. Perhaps in some ways, chillstep is a better genre to express emotions that normally could not be expressed through other genres.
