Just had a weird dream where i was dming a dnd session and one of the players did something that contradicts their characters alignment, i then went ok this is your first warning do it more times and i forcably change your character alignment. Then i literally played first warning from this game. My two obsessions are merging help.

I remember my first breach... Damn you, Ppodae. They deserved to live.

My first breach in lobotomy corp was scorched girl. Hearing those trumpets just reminds me of the massive mistake I made trying to contain her…

At this point, it's kinda random whether the abnormality will be a challenge or an actual joke It could force you to make an actual build and make sure you stay lucky or it might even tire you with it's triviality Example of actual effort needed: Happy Teddy Bear, actually had to learn how to equip key pages to even live through atleast a single "Nostalgic Embrace Of The Old Days" There's also Today's Shy Look who always does 2 damage if you time your attacks properly Some also just get trivialized by the circumstances, Child Of The Galaxy might have been a challenge if i didn't unlock my first objet d'art rarity combat page from a book needed to start the supression. The fight becomes nothing more than spamming "Scratch That!" until both dudes drop to 1 HP

For what it's worth, sometimes (like for Happy Teddy Bear) the best thing to do is "nothing." If you avoid rolling against any of its dice at all, it will *never* be able to use Nostalgic Embrace Of The Old Days, because it relies on clashing to lower its cost

it takes reduced damage from slash attacks ontop of resisting it, it has crazy low stagger resist, it has decent pure defence cards and one kinda weak card that instantly staggers you if everything hits. If I remember everything correctly.

If you go to NexusMods, you can download the basemod and console mod. From there, you can reinitiate any abnormality fight from the console. I know this is an unofficial way of doing this, but for now it’s the best fix we’ve got.

I really enjoy how LoR’s version of first warning gives off more of a sense of mystery along with the usual dread and anxiety. Makes it feel like you’ve entered into an unknown realm you don’t belong in

Bloodbath, Heart of Aspiration, Pinocchio, Smoldering Girl, I honestly can’t tell Fairy Festival Forsaken Murderer? All Around Helper, Singing Machine, Shy Look Today, I can’t tell... Spider Bud Fragment from Beyond/the hand-drawn alien thing that has tentacles and sings, Galaxy Child, Porcubus Those are the abnormalities whose homes are best represented by the images.
