Ableton Tips #2: How to Record Midi
It’s been a whiiiile! (Name that tune)
So, you’ve got Ableton live, and you want to record some music. Using MIDI will let you play tonnes of different sounds from Ableton’s stock library, or 3rd party plug-ins: drums, bass, pads, etc.
The concept can be confusing at first, if you’re new to making music in a DAW, so here’s a basic intro to MIDI, to help you make your first track.
Comes stuffed with keyboard shortcuts, because I LOVE A KEYBOARD SHORTCUT.
Chuck any questions in the comments, and any sweet MIDI tips you might have.

I'm not really musically minded, but this looks interesting I remember using something on Midi on my first PC 1996 (oh gawd how old). might, I'll have a look at what Ableton is, who knows something might come out of having a mess about.
