    Excellent video. I am a massive fan of making my own drum selector racks as well - learning to reverse-engineer the stock drum selector racks was, as they say, a 'lightbulb moment'.

    OMG....This is amazing and the way you show it, makes it look so easy. Tomorrow my Push 2 will arrive, but I know already I’ll be looking at my screen many times.     Thanks mate, have fun with the push, i recommend you to check ableton video to learn it, they are pretty dope ! Yeah this is more of a challange I still use my mouse and keyboard when making music, but yeah the point of the video was that you can do it wihtout a screen or mouse/keyboard.

    go for Push2 , the features are very similar on both, but the screen on OPush2 is gorgeous and will make you want to use it more, rather than on push1 it's looks very old and it is not very attractive !

    Vraiment cool ! Cela a dû être un gros boulot de tout paramétrer en amont... J’aime beaucoup le mapping pour choisir dans la librairie les différents sons de kicks. Cela doit faire gagner pas mal de temps ensuite à l’usage

    @@audioreakt I have just downloaded that melodic techno template and OMG this one is amazing! You my friend are my biggest hero of the moment! I have never seen or heard a template with only ableton stock plugins that sounds so good. The fact that you give it away for free makes it only more amazing. The people at Ableton should be paying you lots of money for showing you don't need all these fancy and expensive plugins.

No I will never make them for sale and a bundle would be unhelpful because the rack are more than just a preset, if people treat them as preset they won't take the time to really understand the rack, the idea behind it, how to use it properly and what each macro do.

    There are plenty of Push tutorials, but having lessons using relevant content has made it so much more fun and accessible. I was window shopping for new gear, but you've motivated me to use tool again. How/where do you find your samples?

    Super useful ! Please do more with only the Push 2, or even how to set up and perform a live set would be great ! I like that you use only Live 10 suite tools ; I would love to see more of the integrated synths (Operator, Wavetable, etc) instead of samples sometimes. Thank you for sharing.

    @@audioreakt Great ! I meant maybe some more time on sound design itself - but maybe it's also genre dependant. You also already have a lot of racks / tools ready, unlike me, so obviously your workflow is much faster :-) Cheers !

    The problem is that if I go more into sound design the video will be 4h long and hard to follow and digest. All the rack I used in the video are available for free on my channel (there are also link in the description to grab them). To be fair I found hard to do sound design with the push 2 only, you have a lot of menu and I am just 10x with the mouse. But rack with their 8 macros and Push2 with the 8 encoders make things so fast and cool to play with

    Thnaks mate , No I will never make them for sale and a bundle would be unhelpful because the rack are more than just a preset, if people treat them as preset they won't take the time to really understand the rack, the idea behind it, how to use it properly and what each macro do. Adn they will just probably overlook them

    I am new to Abelton and Push2. I did buy the Peak Time Techno Samples and also the RAW Techno Sample Pack. Anyway, I am not able to follow the Tutorial at 2:49 in this Video. I cannot find the Bass Sound you are selecting. I don't have anything under Collections. Of course I can use the Template which I also payed for, but I want to be able to follow this Tutorial. Can you please advise me what I need to do to get this Bass Sound. I have the Abelton Live Suite and Push 2. Thank you very much.

    Hi Iv purchased your packs in the description can you please tell me the procedure for getting the rack and samples into live 11 properly, I’m new to ableton and push. I have downloaded everything and have them in folders in live but can’t seem to get everything in racks in ableton I have a Mac. Sorry for the silly question lol

    You have an alp file , you need to double click on it, it will open Ableton and ask you where you want to extract the file. Select the folder of your choice, once extracted you should have inside an als file which is the session project.

    For all the synths/bass/pad etc sounds, I've used the racks I created and shown on this channel so far. You can find in the description of this video the links to the videos where I explain the racks (each rack have one dedicated video).

    Yeah it's let's say "quickly" mix and mastered to sound good, but the point of the video was more about the music production itself. The code appear during the video down the screen, its a bit cheeky I reckon as it appear just a few second but yeah

    ok so i watched the video, downloaded the set and not a single one of your Racks is in there, just a bunch of channels with audio effects on them of which more than half of them i dont own - i thought the racks youve been using in this video would be in that set as well, am i mistaking?

    You might be doing something wrong, once you've extracted the alp files, you have an als files. When you open it you have the 8 tracks I used in the video with the push2. The first track is a drum rack with samples, the other tracks have Instrument rack and sometimes also audio effect rack on it. It doesn't matter if you don't own the rack, you can still play with them and save them to your own library f you want to re-use them in another project.
