Ability to commit tested on 'Married at First Sight Mzansi'
The American award-winning series, Married at First Sight, now has a South African version. This series is based on a group of singles agreeing to marry partners chosen for them by a team of relationship experts. They only get to meet their partners at the altar. A lot can be asked about the feasibility of these marriages.
One of the contestants, Zithobile Sibaya as well as a community psychologist with a focus on marriage and family therapy, Bakhe Dlamini speak to Newzroom Afrika's Masechaba Khumalo.

Thami will never find a modern working woman, that can handle him and his ways. He better just go find himself someone from ekhaya who is ready and willing to be a man's literal maid and submissive to the core.
Lets not judge Thami even Zee has her flaws bandla she's not an angel
Unfortunately she had no other match with other 3 males, i suspect they were matched by default. I don’t blame the team.
She is so humble and respectful. I so blame the match makers here. They did an innocent soul dirty as they are not compatible as per their initial requirements. She will get her rib when the time is right. God's time is the best. Wish her to be granted her heart desires
I feel like this couple are true to themselves and their feelings, they are real than the others.
It's not a first of its kind in SA, this is the second season of the show.

Why did you pair her with Thami. He is there for fame and he is childish, I don't think that he knows what he want in life. With others he said She is big and doesn't like her body. How do u even say that about Ur wife?
Great interview Bakhe keep inspiring us as married men we need men like you who will guide us through this journey of marriage keep it that way
I feel like this goes against Bakhe's values.

If anything I feel like Thami was the most genuine person there amongst the men. Zithobile was the problem here. She has unresolved issues that she hasn't worked through and it clearly keeps coming through her behaviour in relationships

@@pulanemolotsi6998 nobody is ready for that conversation! The fact is she wants marriage but no the work, many times she said she’s tired it’s a lot of work. Marriage is too much work!? Thami wanted acts of service and physical touch. Example she said I’m not into intimacy I do it because he likes it. Imagine having to be intimate with someone who has no desire to be. 😅 I’m all for her commitment to herself but don’t make someone else take the blame alone.

They should also have married at first site for older people as well 36 and older because there comes a point in time where we also feel we tired of relationships as well .. and as well for divorced people who are willing to give it a try again with new love

I think this interview came too early for the participants,at least they should have let all episodes go through... To the marriage councillor what is their plan B if any of their matches choose not to stay or the couples feel no compatibility Already some of the comments are that the lady was mismatched.but no one knows what might happen later as the weeks go by with this man .SOuth Africans we rush to get interviews..

Agreed we are still in ep3 but this is already giving it away that she didn't make it to the finish line with her chosen husband. It would be better if the interview was with the marriage counselor only

I love Thami. He behave as all the men will do meeting a woman in bed for the first time. Thami didn't get what he asked for it was a favor what Thami did. Even Tho Ole will see when they tried to counsel them. Thami is a good man clean and ready to have a wife. Marriage goes with sex first day. That is why there's honeymoon
