Haha it’s SO handy! Finding the right bra for tank tops is really annoying. It always shows the strap or just feels uncomfortable. I feel I won the lottery with this one 😂 The shorts are really good, you’ll love them! ❤️

@@milainnewyork agreed, the bra tops make summer dressing so much easier! There’s something about that particular style that doesn’t look great on me (I think I would prefer either straight straps or a true halter) but that didn’t stop me from buying one in the recent sale 😂 I really like the bralette style they have as well, it’s just long enough to work with high waisted pants. They did come out with a halter style this year but the material is thinner and not as nice imo

Thanks for the rec's Mila. I will check out the scalloped shorts. Hopefully they will have a black in my size. I really like the vest on you too. For me I would have to skip I just know that style of vest (or anything with buttons really) isn't flattering on my large chest. When I got up in size, then it's too big on the shoulders

Sorry to hear about the vest, I see what you mean. They should have a deeper dart to be more flattering on large chest. I feel that even for me I’d have liked it more tailored (like the Reformation one I shared). Abercrombie has a few black linen tops though that could match the shorts 😊

I only ever ordered one item from A&F, a “100% rayon” blouse. What they failed to mention in the description was that it was completely lined with polyester. I can’t wear polyester, it was super-cheap looking and no where near the right size, although I used my measurements and their size chart. I think they use a junior/teen cut, because it didn’t have any room for a woman’s bust. They wouldn’t take it back without big charges, either. I never bought anything from them again. This is an example of why I only shop “Premium High Street”, I’m sick of cheap fabrics, shoddy construction, poor design and fit problems at fast-fashion shops. They also have very ungenerous return policies and the prices are too high for the low quality. I don’t have these problems with premium brands, it’s well worth the extra money to me. I just buy fewer, but better, items and now I have a nearly zero return rate.

I just can't believe how this company has changed since I was in high school. Back in the day it was more expensive than other mall chain stores, but the pieces were really good quality. It was the sort of place you went if you loved the Ralph Lauren look but didn't have a RL budget lol. I bought my brother a navy cotton sweater from there for his birthday 20+ years ago and it's still going strong.

Oh the polyester lining is awful! There’s no point in making a garment with natural fibers and adding a synthetic lining 🤦🏻‍♀️ Sorry you had such a bad experience with their returns. I have a store near me, so it’s easy to drop off. The times I mailed back took from 3 -10 days for me to get a refund

@@sparklie962 oh that’s so sad to hear! I’ve been here in the States for 12 years so I can’t really tell. I do feel like H&M and some other “fast fashion” brands used to have MUCH better clothes though. I still have pieces I bought in 2012 and they look perfect

You look so beautiful. Unfortunatelly, the shorts are not available online (at least not in Europe). 🤷 I would live to try them. I have the midi skirt in black and I love it. Maybe it is not the most flattering but I find it very comfortable. Now, when I see the sage version, I think I would prefer this one... Why don't they release all the colours at the same time? I hate this. Being petite and curvy I really appreciate their jeans.

I was in my local Abercrombie last weekend and couldn't find a single thing that I even pulled off the rack to take a closer look. The place was a hot mess, with wrinkled, grubby looking pieces on the mannequins and in the front display window. So unappealing.

Oh no that sounds awful! I had this feeling in a few areas of the store too, but in general it looked nice. I was shocked with the polyester /satin dresses though , they looked SO cheap I couldn’t believe. All over $100 😅

Oh that’s odd! Are you in the US? They’re available for me except for the sage vest.
