a big hello to you, dear friend, and thank you for your commitment to ABBA and reacting to all their songs "Should I Laugh or Cry" (1981) was the B-side of the single "One of us" and it was not included in the album "The Visitors" (only as a bonus track in next editions) My personal taste differs from most general comments For me it is a nice and acceptable song, but no more than 6 or 7 pts I even think the chorus is weaker than the verses sung by Frida (also I like her power vocals and the 'not power' chorus) Even so, I consider that it should have been included in the album "The Visitors" And I also differ on whether or not it is one of the best B-side of ABBA Making the clarification beforehand that ABBA's singles (and their B-sides) have varied a lot depending on the different countries where they were released, and taking as a general parameter the singles released in the UK (the main objective of ABBA), and excluding live versions (such as "Take a chance on me") without a doubt the best is "I've been waiting for you", the B-side of "So long" (1974) followed by "That's me", the B-side of "Dancing Queen" (1976) and "The Visitors" the B-side of "Head over heels" (1982) But that's the beauty of ABBA, their songs are from good to excellent (except for a few weak songs), and what some of us like less, others like more, its all about tastes and opinions I wish you a greatest weekend and see in next ABBA Sunday my best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina South America PS: I believe that these video montage is with images from ABBA in Japan 1978 for TV specials

It took me decades to fully understand all of Frida's words here.. her accent does actually fudge things a bit. BUt when I completely understood the lyrics an extra little jolt of impact got added to the powerful images the lyrics conjure up.. And I'm sure every single one of us has had someone in our lives behaving the same way as the man she is speaking about.

THis song and "Like an Angel..." are the ones that seem to really accentuate her voice for me - showing how much deeper and richer her timbre is compared to Agnetha's soaring soprano.

I've never heard this one. Like it. Sounds like a song once again about their relationships. Wow I didn't know they all smoked. Even both the girls. Not the best thing for a singer

considering they all started their careers in the 60s, it's very "Mad Men" style LOL Yep, even in Sweden. Remember this about the songs: Benny does the music, Bjorn does the Lyrics -- but obviously there's some cross pollination as well. Bjorn was truly absurdly brilliant withhis lyrics depicting the very sad devolution of their marriages once they hit the big time world wide and the huge toll that sort of demand and stardom took on them - Agnetha especially. She all but went hermit for a decade on the island of Lidingo east of Stockholm to raise her kids. Source: without having any idea such a thing was remotely possible, I quite accidentally ended up meeting/sleeping with her first cousin when I visited Stockholm in 1988 >.< He and his friends asked me why I was in Stockholm al alone (American Sailor in the wild) and I jokingly said I had come in search of news about the whereabouts of ABBA. this was 6 years after their last Album (The Singles). His freinds all turned and looked at him and he turned beet red. Quite a laugh was had when he indicated Agnetha was his first cousin.
