I absolutely love this "behind" part!

The lazy metronomic beat, the strings, the plaintive cries in their voices all come together perfectly. Their music is real like you say. ABBA is a special band.

Wonderful reaction! And grtz to finding ABBA, it will follow u ur whole life. I was 10 yrs old when ABBA first hit me, now close to 60 yrs and they still in my heart.

Thanks for the ABBA. Their an amazing group. It's like perfect Pop music. It's like they took it to a new level. Then you keep going with their music and you realize it's not just Pop. They did some of every genre and took the same approach and perfected the song in that genre. My favourite with these types of angelic harmonies is "The Name Of The Game". It's very complex with both girls getting leads, tempo changes and harmonies. It build and builds till it all comes together ending with a perfect mix of everything that came before. Yes an amazing band.

Songs and lyrics like these are what make Abba resonate around the world. They were not "teeny bopper" pop stars, but married couples writing and singing about the grown up stuff of break ups and divorce. The stubborn child in us resenting how we are "held back", missing out on the fun and romance they could be having... and then living with the regret. They lived this stuff and put into beautiful and powerful music. "The winner takes it all", "Knowing me, knowing you," and all the others. Timeless perfection.

Agnethas peak tones shakes a heart and as always very soulful. And again Björns lyrics. Exellent. The bassline from Rutgers baseguitar is brilliant.

Watching your reaction to this ABBA song, made me realise: we need more good storytelling packaged in a good popsong-style. Music today seems to have lost that formula and puts its focus more on voice technique than on well written lyrics that have a beginning and end...ABBA was and still is, even recently, a great example. hello, nice to see you again in another ABBA song there is much to say about "One of us" (1981) 1) It is a beautiful song, it has a soft melody and melancholic lyrics that allow Agnetha to shine with a very sweet voice, and a catchy and harmonic chorus 2) was ABBA's last big hit (until the return of ABBA last year); #1 in several European countries and #3 in the UK (last Top 10 of their 18 in a row between 1975/1982) 3) recorded at the end of 1981, the two couples were already separated (Agnetha & Björn almost 3 years ago, Benny & Frida a few months ago) 4) the official video is very good, it shows Agnetha (with a more mature beauty) acting sober and convincing rebuilding a love life from a move 5) In my opinion it is together with "Slipping through my fingers" the best song from his latest album "The Visitors" , where the melancholy and rawness of his lyrics is most pronounced in the context of a complex album of musical exploration away from ABBA's signature pop, and an image of the four singles over the two couples

So underrated! And just for curiosity: that song is about the Agnetha and Bjorn divorce. So so real for their live and they put all that feelings and emotions in this song. That's why is my fav band
