For those of you who are following this recreation, here is the latest installment, a pictorial description of what's currently going with the Abarth SE018 project. Roll bar is finally in and I'm now connecting the rear section to the middle, and finishing off the welds.

Reminds me remotely of the Nardi Crosley I worked on so many years ago. Looks like fun, but a lot of work! Enjoy seeing the progress. Thanks John.
as a tech inspector you probly looked at a lot of cars. so you know what you want. looks like your getting it. love seeing it come together very entertaining awesome car

When we get back to it, right now the chassis and body work are more important. As you have probably already seen, the engine has been fitted with Honda CBR900F carbs, my own header and stinger, crank has been knife-edged, H-beam rods, 9.6:1 compression pistons, 290 degree cams, beehive valve springs, light-weight front pulley, lightened flywheel, and a hand made aluminum sump - that's if for now. Still have to do the assembly of all the parts, etc... Stay tuned... John...
