I don't think you have a good understanding of the situation. If the government refused to obey the court orders and rulings, what will Ndi-Igbo do? Take up arms or go to the detention facility and force MNK out. Wisdom and diplomacy will prevail. You cannot compare the worth of appeal to the weight of having him released and guarantee peace in the Southeast. The later is way weightier.
