An ABAQUS plug-in was prepared by our expert team which is capable of creating a two dimensional representative volume element or RVE of discontinuous composite with random fibers (rectangular inclusions). This plug-in can be used for RVE modeling of composites with random fibers, RVE modeling of rectangular inclusions in a matrix and similar structures. This video provides a tutorial on how to use the plug-in through solving an example and explains all its features in detail. Using EngSoft_PBC2D_V1, PBCs are applied to the model.
